Please help. Trying to put 4th gen rims on 2nd gen truck.

I have the same truck as this guy. I just tried to put the same rims on as him but the hub would not allow it. Anyone know for sure how to do it? Thanks!

might be the back spacing.

Is it pretty close to fitting? I've had issues in the past with the aluminum bores corroding enough to cause interference with the hub. I've knocked down the iron rust with a file and/or sandpaper, and done the same thing on the bore of the wheels to get them to fit.

They should have a 77.8mm center bore.

And it's the hub that's not fitting, for certain? Like NoMPG2010 mentioned, is it actually maybe hitting the upper control arm, or something else?

That's why. Wheel hub will either need bored out, convert your entire hub and brake assembly to the 00+ style or run a wheel spacer

Spindle on the 99 and older doesn't allow for the newer wheels. All years 4x4 and 00+ 2wd have zero issues
