Last week the drivers window auto up wouldn't work. Then the passenger auto up stoped working, and the drivers side started working. Sometimes both auto up don't work. Today, the drivers side decided it was it's turn not to work. The auto down has been working fine on both windows tho.

Hate to do it, but it looks like a trip to the dealer is in my future. They always seem to mess something up.

Hi mowin,

Sorry to hear about this! If you need further assistance during your dealership appointment please send us a PM with your VIN and let me know.

It sounds like you need a new drivers side window switch cluster.

Have you tried to reset them?

Open the window by pushing and holding down the button. Keep holding to a count of 3 then release the button.

Close the window by pulling up and holding the button up. Keep holding to a count fo 3 then release the button.

Do this same process three times in a row for both front windows, then test.

I’ll be trying this on mine as well since the auto-up feature seems to be having issues.

Note: This would be a pretty creative practical joke as well. LOL

Well, wife and I went out to dinner, and I stopped by my dealer to ask about the reset mentioned above. He confirmed the reset procedure.

I'll definitely try it tomorrow morning.

It's a common issue on a lot of FCA vehicles. My SRT8 needs a reset now and then, especially when the car has been powered down with the battery disconnected. But it happens at other times, randomly, for no reason.
