Anyone else seen this? Looks like they are changing the lower front fascia to solve the issue with there not being enough room for an IC. Sorry if this has already been posted. I am on the back burner waiting to see the 2020 big boy trucks shown before deciding which PW to buy. Why would they go and make changes to the PW for the 2019 models when they are supposed to be redoing the 2500 and ups for 2020?

The Power Wagon was introduced after the 4th gen trucks came out so a total refresh on that model is probably coming a bit later than the 2020 model introduction. The 2019 update isn't a significant change as it's a mid-cycle update at this point but adding that Cummins to the truck seems like a great step.

I suspect they'll synch up the PW updates with the rest of the 5th generation sometime in 2020, probably 4 - 5 months after the 5th gen refresh in late 2019 or early 2020, then just do all the model refreshes at the same time.

So your thought is this will just be a temp change adding in the Cummins option, followed by the reveal at next years Detroit Auto Show of the new 5th gen bodies for 3/4 tons and up which will include an update visually to the PW. More than likely it will closely resemble a beefier version of the Rebel as it does now. Of course those being 2020 models being released sometime in 2019 just like they did with the 1/2 tons.

Yeah..I am guessing this mid-cycle refresh will be followed by an entire refresh to 5th generation styling in early 2020. At that point they will synch the entire 5th gen line for refresh at the same time.

Of course, they could refresh the body earlier than 2020. You just never know what those folks at FCA will do sometimes.

I bet it’ll have the heat extraction hood vents like the 2019 Rebel

And hopefully they keep the 4th pedal option with the Cummins diesel.

I don't know... call me an 'elitist' or whatever, but I hope they NEVER put a Diesel in a Power Wagon. For all the crap I have had to listen to, and all the times I have had to explain to all of the hard core Diesel Lovers out there why I do not need, Nor WANT a Diesel, I just hope they don't.

I'm not saying deny people the opportunity to equip a truck the way they want it, but call it something different. Matter of fact, I think they should break it down even further and just make the Lockers and Winch individual options available on EVERY model. But leave the Power Wagon designation as it is; for vehicles with the entire unique package from the factory. Just my opinion.
