Petro Canada has some really good oil for the diesels in their duron line, but not sure about the gas engine oils.

Can we talk about gas for a second again. I have always been partial to shell for the superior cleaning. BP is second in line for me. But im considering switching over to Marathon as it is American owned and there are lots of them around here.

Then i found this

I'm still partial to shell and bp. When my dad had a diesel he swore that flying J had the cleanest diesel fuel. I really don't know that patronising one station over another would make that much difference since all the gas cones from the same pipeline, it's just the additive package at the distribution terminals that makes them different.

17's or 18's for a 4x4, more sidewall more better. You never know when you will need the adjustibility.

Its kinda a bummer I like the XDs alittle better but they start at 18s not 17s, but I like the 17" size better. lol
probably end up with the 17s though.

I'd go 17~18 on 33's but I think 35s look good on 20's. That's a whole 'lotta sidewall on 35s. But to each their own.

Not to mention if you are on the trail you can lower psi and actually make it off the trail, of course on-board air or compressor necessary. 20's on the trail = no good unless you have monster tires.

Of course everyone has their own opinion, but I don't think my 35x12.5x20s look "low profile" at all. Plenty of sidewall to air down if needed. 46de6e8633cd0f576a4d5955b4f61a9d.jpg

Just trying to support an american comany if possible.

:emotions34:
I understand what you're saying but with the way these companies are all tied together in corporate America it's really hard to tell. I mean BP is British Petroleum which is hooked to Phillips 66 which is hooked to Spectrom which is hooked to Redline. So redline is American made, but is it an American company? Shell is a Dutch company but their GTL plant is in Gatar.

U&A, I use Sunoco since far as I know the money doesn't flow to the middle East to fund people who want to kill us.

Simple choice for me. Shorter sidewall for handling, smaller rim larger sidewall for a nicer ride. I prefer better handling on the 1500. On my wrangler, I prefer the larger sidewall. Depends on how you use your truck.

I absolutely agree. I have the factory steel 18’s and want the factory steel 17’s bad. Just not up for paying for them. If i find someone that is interested In switching i would be auper pumped. Has to be steel wheels for me though.

The further that rim is from the ground the better.

I would love to use sunoco, the only problem is the closest sunoco station is 20 miles from me. I really find this odd, living in NC and sunoco's involvement with racing and there are next to no sonoco stations.
