I guess I'm too old, but I don't get the whole debadging thing. What's the point of buying a particular brand if you're just going to remove any of the identification from it? If you're going to but a Lamborghini, wouldn't you want everyone to know it was a Lamborghini? Not that a Ram is on par with a Lamborghini, but it's still the same thought.

just like a ram, i dont need a stuck on emblem or logo to tell me that a Lamborghini is sitting next to me, the main point of debadging our trucks is it gives a smooth clean look to it, same reason 2 of my trucks are shaved of everything on them, it makes the truck have a smooth clean look...

and to be fair, if you are near someone who cant tell that you are driving a dodge ram because of it not saying it on the truck, then you just need to walk away and never speak to that person again, that kind of negativity in ones life is just not good for your health

Personal preferences. I think some vehicles look good debadged, some not. It depends on the badges and my opinion even varies amongst trim/color of various vehicles. Some people just want something that doesn't look like every other single ram that rides down the road. If your vehicle is heavily modded and debadged to where it's tough to recognize, there is some enjoyment of people asking "wtf is that, I want one". Some people even pull badges to not let others know what's under the hood to lure them into street races.

Badges don't make the vehicle. I wish they did, I'd buy a fiero, slap a lanbo body kit and badges on it, then sell it for $200K lol.

Personally, removing the 3D Ram's head in favor of a smoother badge makes the backup camera view better in my opinion.

Age has nothing to with it, I got six years on ya and couldn’t stand all the advertising on my truck, face it that’s all it is. And RAM has got to be the worst offender by far imo. I pulled everything off mine except the Hemi on each side And it’s way more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I paid enough for this **** without free advertising for RAM.

Count me in as a de-badger. Virtually everything looks better without badging and (especially!) decals.

If it won't leave a ghost image in the paint or a fastener hole, I want it gone. There's never been a time where I said, "Phew, sure is a good thing that I have a 4x4 badge on my truck. Otherwise, I wouldn't have remembered I had that capability." Never felt that information was something anyone else on the road cared about either.

Different strokes for different folks.
