Good Afternoon Everyone.

I am looking at putting my set of 35X12.5XR20 Toyo M/T on my 17 Power Wagon this spring and am needing to purchase new rims for them. I was thinking that the Wagons I see look great when the tires sit basically flush with the stock flares on the truck.
Now with that being said, what rims has everyone put on your trucks for the offset and how do you like them? Would love to see photos!

Hello RamFarmer!

I have a 2018 PW with 35x12.50R18 BFG KO2s on 18x9.5 Black Rhino Armory wheels. The wheels have a +6 offset and do stick out from the flares a bit.
This site might be helpful... I think your stock rims are +47 offset. https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

How hard was it to change the wheel flares? I like the way those look.

Yep, I'd like to know the same thing. Do they just bolt into the underside of the wheel well using the existing bolts? Or do these actually bolt into the side of the fender? This mod is on my future list!

I can't remember the cost as I had a bunch of things done at the dealer that day, but, a hundred or so I'm thinking for all 4. I can't seem to upload a pic right now, I'll try again later.

How much where the mopar flares do you have a pic of a side view

When I did a search, (part# 82214577AC) has a MSRP of $499. Best price I found was around $400.

Chrisy, Do they have the same foot print as the stock flares but just stick out more?

Quick question maybe someone can help? Looking to put the Black Rhino Armory wheels on my 2018 RAM Power Wagon. Also looking to run either 315/70/R17 or 35x12.5x17 BFG K02 or KM03, Yoko X-MT or X-AT Nitto Ridge Grapplers. So with the wheels what is the ideal offset to buy? I have either a -18 or a +6 the rim moves from a 17x 8 to a 17x 9.5. Will either of the offsets work? No lift no levelers etc stock suspension. Is there any rubbing with your setup at +6mm on 18?

Thanks

+18 to +27 is a bit better for the offset, but between those two choices I would definitely do the +6.

To the OP....first, you don`t "need" new rims to run 35`s but the choice is your`s if you want a different look.
Many of us have found the AEV rims (17 x 8.5, +27 off-set I think) to have the perfect off-set for all around clearance, especially if you end up with 37`s.
Lots of great tire and rim choices, happy hunting!

Try this calculator to compare vs. stock:https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
Stock offset is +45.7 if I recall so you can enter +46mm

With a +6mm offset and 12.5" wide tire you are looking at the outer sidewall being 2.07" further out than the stock setup. It all depends how much "poke out" from the top of the fender you want. I didn't want any so I first chose my offset range and started looking for wheels within that range.

I got these: http://www.cjcoffroad.com/Raceline-929BZ-Avenger-Dodge-Ram-Wheels-p/raceline929bz-sl-cjc.htm

CJC has some youtube vids that explain the best offset for Ram HD trucks. I had 35's on stock wheels for a very short time. What I found was that mounting 35's on the stock narrow wheels caused the tread to crown. Because of that the steering was darty and didn't like it at all.
Almost went with some avengers myself, great offset for the PW and great looking wheel.
