Good morning all,
New here and have been a Ram lover all my life. Last 3 were 2 Gen 1 and a Gen 2, 1500's.
With that being said, I am just looking to hear from guys with first hand experience. I am a project manager for a builder in Florida and do a lot of driving, so I don't want to go crazy, but want to make some improvements.
Let me list the things I am looking to do and get feedback from there.
I have a 2015 Ram 1500 SLT Quad cab w/ 5.7L Beni.
I want to:
BBK throttle body and spacer (85mm or 90mm) feedback please)
afe Momentum GT Pro 5R cold air intand
5.7L Hemi catch can
Pedal Commander (Brand/model ???)
Diablo Tuner (????)
Exhaust "Y" pipe delete into Magnaflo Super 10, or Outlaw muffler, then adding OEM dual tail pipes with resonators and dual outlet chrome rear bumper. (Stainless where possible) Not sure about tips yet.
Lastley I would like feed back about this electric fan mod f
Using the fan from the 3.6L and 180 degree thermostats. Heard about issues with fan not kicking on because of settings that the tuner can't reset.
I want to make sure proper cooling in done so please interject opinions.
NOT LOOKKING TO DO HEADERS - BACK!

I am not looking for a ton of HP. Just a little crisper response and a nice deep sound.
I will be adding a small lift and tires, off setting the rims -12 and bushwacker paint to match flares down the road.
ANY FEEDBACK AND EXPERIECES ARE WELCOME.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

If this is your daily and you drive a lot I probably wouldn’t do a lift and big tires, but to each their own.

Pedal commander is the brand. Nick on here from gotexhaust can get you a good price on it. He could also help you out with your exhaust needs(obviously)

Again since it’s your daily and u drive it a lot maybe just a bit louder is good enough.

It’s hard to get others to make these decisions for you. Just gotta go with what you like. It’s your truck.

Ditch the throttle body spacer, it’s a waste of money and provides no gain. If you put a bigger throttle body on it you’re going to have to get it tuned.

If it is your daily ditch the lift idea unless you are like 7 feet tall will just harm your mpg. If all you want is a little hmpf if you punch it why not just get a tuner. Superchips has a solid program on it. Increases the firmness of the shift points and raises rpms slightly. I am running 87 mode and see a difference in response. As for sound just get some magnaflow exhaust. Any louder is obnoxious.

I have a buddy who has done everything and I just shake my head because he cries about the price at the pump. Its like yeah moron you lifted your truck and got bigger tires... duh!

Suggestions are below each item:

BBK throttle body and spacer (85mm or 90mm) feedback please)

Unnecessary unless you’ve done some major engine mods (ie heads, cam, bottom end, forced induction, etc)

afe Momentum GT Pro 5R cold air intake

S&B, Volant and Vararam seem to be the winners here, although you could just do a nice high flow dry drop in filter

5.7L Hemi catch can

YUP, do it

Pedal Commander (Brand/model ???)

Diablo Tuner (????)

Your call: Pedal commander will give you the get up and go but Diablosport will allow for minor tuning to assist in Efan mod and various canned tunes to enhance PC

Exhaust "Y" pipe delete into Magnaflo Super 10, or Outlaw muffler, then adding OEM dual tail pipes with resonators and dual outlet chrome rear bumper. (Stainless where possible) Not sure about tips yet.

Sure why not.

Again, your call: I’m on the fence on this as well but I need to do more research

“Small lift”-Do a Bilstein 5100 level up front set at max 2.8” lift, 3/4” spacers in rear and you should be able to fit easily 34” or 35” tires (width dependent) on OEM rims (or your rim of choice). For a little extra insurance, and possibly save the life of your ball joints on these trucks, get some 09-12 upper control arms or Zone control arms. It seems 13/14 to current upper control arms are less than stellar and are prone to popped ball joints doing a lift. So long as you have to pull apart the front suspension now is the time to upgrade.

I would have to see dyno results before and after the fan mod. Might free up 2-3 hp but I cant see any more than that.
Guys have used underdriven pulley sets, and only saw 2-3 rwhp gains.
