rmi-25 is the only coolant additive I'd use if I was gonna use one, and I happen to use one. It will take any slime in the tubes and put it in the over flow, I've seen that first hand.

It is fantastic stuff , I've seen it clean almost too good in our Magnum a few years ago .

So, is there a way to put oat in my cooling system or should I stay hoat and use rmi-25 and water wetter?

Or should I use something entirely different like prestone?

I'd use RMI-25 for about a thousand miles so it can clean everything , then do a complete flush and refill with HOAT as this is what your truck should've been serviced with since new ....make sure you get 100% of the air out with a good burping process with a large funnel.
If you're not familiar with the air bleed / burping process YouTube it , there's lots of vids on this . Any air in the coolant system WILL cause corrosion.

This funnel (or a generic brand one like it) helps with the air bleeding process:

Most people ran the green antifreeze for 10 years. That means I can probably get 15 out of HOAT and 30 out of OAT [emoji851]
LOL , Let me know how that works out for you Sir .

I agree 200%!
It’s ideal for a new auto. Really nothing to clean so a clean system to plate & protect.
My new Ram received a bottle the other day.

For a used neglected auto the perfect scenario would be to add some type of coolant filtration to catch all the scale & debris the product has cleaned & broken loose.
I’m really not to fond/excited about this circulating throughout my cooling system especially the water pump for any extended time.

Most older well maintained cooling systems are spotless to begin with.
I just add the product for piece of mind for the many years too come.

My simple humble honest opinion: With a healthy well maintained cooling system adding RMI-25 with either HOAT or OAT coolant is all you will ever need in a daily driver.
Just follow the RMI-25 dosage directions.

Yeah well every town had two or more radiator shops, something that is long gone. Shops that did radiators all day every day because of dummies (like me) that ran the green stuff too long. You can still find them, but nowhere as many as there used to be.

The Dealer changed engine oil after I bought it at no charge before I picked it up (37.500mile), but the engine didn't sound the same after oil change. The engine was nice and quiet before! And after: way more ticks and ****.

Sound before tonights oil change with Mopars oil filter and I'm guessing 5w20 something oil --> https://soundcloud.com/stefan-n-355457816/2015-hemi-57-cold-start-1c-with-5w20

So tonight I changed the oil and filter to the good stuff :love62: and think I got less sounds at ones. Have never seen an oil soo water like as the oil I drained :O

Will record after a tank of gas or if the engine will quiet down before that

Now that's one hell of an upgrade from a Mopar filter and **** thin oil !
