The same company makes dual brightness lights also. Same size and everything. The only problem I ran into is that the brightness of the dual and the single.
The single brightness is the same as the high of the dual brightness.

I'd like to install the lights that the OP used. I want to mount them here:

Took some measurements and I can put three on each side...should be nicely spaced. Was wondering exactly what holds them in place? Looks like the grommets get inserted first....then the lights go in. Is there anything on the back side that keeps the lights secure?

Also, I'd like to do bulbs that light up white. Will it be too bright with three lights spaced that close together? Would it be legal to have them on with the headlights?

Thanks for any input!

White up front should be fine. I actually just received a 10 pack of amber lights and a 10 pack of white for a project. I think they are only held in by the grommet. You could probably add a dab of silicone adhesive when you put them in if you want additional support.

I like the idea of them going there. I don't plan on getting tow hooks and I've been looking for some LEDs to go there

Thanks for the quick responses!

I was looking for LED's to go there too....and couldn't really find anything I liked and could be mounted relatively easy. I think these will do it.

They are held in by the grommet, they are a tight fit and there is a ridge inside the grommet and a matching notch in the light. Mine have been in for over 3 months, including a 1400 mile round trip and have shown no sign of loosening.

As for the legality of extra white lights in front, I would check with your local PD. They're likely to be the ones harassing you if they are not legal in your area.

What's the spacing

I used the indents on the air dam for a guide. I put on at the middle indent, then every other one going out, then for the last one on each side I measured out the same distance as there was between the others. I think it was around 10", but it will look best if you follow the lines already there.

Ah, I wonder if that's because you have a HD or just because it's a newer model year? I'll measure mine when I leave from work in a bit and let you know.
