The change to coilover/macpherson wasn't until 2009, the first of the 4th gens.
But I saw a video of an 07 where they added a lift or something and the shock tower seems to be up at the top of the fender wells like most cars. Seemed like an entirely different setup to my 05, as if coilovers would be a direct drop in.

Replaced the rear brakes on my co-workers 2014 Ram this morning. This evening I decided to mount the switches for the heated and cooled seats. No wiring done but the switches are in place. The alignment is off a little on each side but I can live with that for now.

Well I went all out on the truck today. I mean a real PITA, broke a major sweat and a ton of choice words but finally got it finished up and I must say it was worth it in the end. I installed that amazing island scent fresher. Install write up in my build thread.........

My 14 year old paint is a tad shiny...

It still looks like there's hair and scratches in it, but I can't quite tell if that's just reflections of **** on the ground or not.

Going with about 85-95% sure it's just reflections rather than imperfections.

never had hair in my paint lol, there are scratches in this truck that arent going to come out, but 90% of them are barely visible now, what your seeing in that pic are reflections though, the truck had an extremely rough life before i got it, as you can see in the pic i need to replace the front fender, that will get done on phase two when i custom paint the truck and shave the door handles and antenna to match everything else thats shaved

Can't pop that dent out with PDR? I'll eventually get some body work and paint done on my truck and will have the antenna shaved at the time. My current head unit has a HD antenna stuck to the windshield and the stock one hasn't been plugged in for years now.

Can you do that with any head unit? How's the reception?

Nice. How do you think my truck might turn out? I know i have some chips in the one bed dent, so no polishing that, and I also have 2 scratches I can feel, so those aren't coming out, but aside from that, there's mostly just swirls, some hairline scratches, and the scuffing where the rear ram head badge was. And who knows what a potential LKQ fender and tailgate would look like...

No idea, it probably requires a head unit that does HD radio. Reception is good but I hardly ever use it. I'm always streaming Pandora from my phone over bluetooth.

i shaved my antenna, i strapped it to the fender support beam under the fender, some reception loss but i still pick up about 75% of what i did, they sell antennas that you can run up the inside of the cab to the windshield if you are just set on FM....

i stream all my music so i dont ever use the FM option

im not there so i cant judge it, nor do i know your skill, technique and skill decide how good you can get it (within reason of course) most scuffs, swirls, and small scratches will come out with the proper method, deeper scratches and imperfections can be minimized...

i personally take damaged body panels from my shop and practice on them to always keep my skills improving, but ive been doing this for 3 years now, thing is there is no such thing as fast, the door and cab area was 3 hours, the front fender was almost 2, so you add it up and you are easily a day or more into a FULL polish, and thats just the polishing, you add in washing, glaze, wax, ect.. and you are almost at 2 days

I know it would take long. I've decided on trying it on the next 3 day weekend I have with no obligations.
