Looks like a Fram filter spend a couple of coins more put a K/N .That's whats in mine Mopar aren't in the business of making air or oil filter they contract someone to make it to their specs.Dont put that duel cold air intake like this guy put on mine before i bought the truck. How can you call it cold air when it is sitting dead on top of a hot engine?I went and replaced it with a stock air box with a K/N filter it runs fine a lot quitter under the hood .I'm old school cold air is air coming in from outside not sitting on a hot engine .

I hear ya, it’s actually a carquest, I have a k/n drop in now but the oil from lubing it time after time starts to mess with my sensors, I’m constantly kleening the intake, iac, tps, and the price of the k/n cleaner n oil are way more then throw aways. Plus where I drive, there’s not much particulate in the air. The filter box won’t even close with this pos in it either.

^^^ This. K&N air filters suck, there’s no reason to use an oiled filter these days. I’ve used those aem dryflows before and they are awesome.

Your picture shows a made in Mexico air filter with Mopar all over it.
I think you got an OEM supplier made filter. You just didn't pay $50 extra from the stealership.
Chrysler don't make no air filters anymore Dude. They buy that small stuff from some supplier in Mexico. I'd bet its the same supplier Auto Zone bought this one from.

I did along with a couple faulty sensors, never again buying electronic or mechanical anything from them or the like, those places are terrible, nothing but snot nose, know nothing, bratty little kids working at those places, from now on if I need a sensor of any sort, it’s going to be oe! No doubt! Don’t care if it’s triple the price, it’s not worth my time trying to diagnose a ****y part!
