So, I got my new seats today.

Out of a 2017 Bighorn with 4000 miles on it.

I love the upgraded cloth and...POWER DRIVERS SEAT WITH LUMBAR ! :Big Laugh:

Now I am patiently waiting on M² Mods to finish My harness.

Now all you need is a truck to put them in! :p

Glad you to them. My '14 Big Horn has the same seats and I will admit they are comfy!

So these seats and the harness will give you heated and power seats? Would love to do this in my 2015 Express. If I can ask, what is this whole upgrade costing?

His seats will only give him power. If you are interested in adding heated and power seats, check out the 4th gen DIY section for complete details on what it takes. Depending on the seats, it can get to be a pretty pricy mod.

I have cloth heated seats.. with this kit I have a couple questions..

Will they go right over my current seat (stock covers ) ?

Will my heated seats still function ?

How hard is install?

LeatherSeats.com and Katzkin are complete cover replacements. You remove the cloth covers and install the leathers.

Clazzio are covers that go right over the existing cloth.

The complete replacement covers are a harder install but arguably better product....Katzkin actually makes the OEM leather covers for RAM, cant get much better than that.

Heated seats will still work but might not feel as warm since the new covers are thicker (Clazzio over cloth is 2 layers, Katzkin/LeatherSeats.com covers probably have more padding, etc).

The Clazzios should be easier to install since there is no removal of existing, no hog rings, etc. The complete replacement covers will require hog rings and hog ring pliers, a "snipper" to cut the existing hog rings, etc. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to do it....its not THAT hard, probably more time consuming than anything.

Ive never inquired, but I think 400-500 for install seems to be about normal.

I once re-covered seats in a 1967 Mustang. Took a good day worth of work (8 hours with breaks in between) to do front and rear seats. They were a little harder than I would think the RAM seats would be, since the ONLY thing holding them on were tons of hog rings. Newer vehicles have plastic clips and stuff holding most of the covers on. I can tell you for sure, your hands will hurt for a few days afterward!

My dealer quoted me $1400 including installation for Katzkins on my 2014 1500 CC (Jump seat front, solid bench back). That was a verbal quote and I haven't actually had it done, so YMMV.
