I ordered the Lightening Dark 9006s for my fogs. However, they didn't fit in the housing all the way and when I attempted to push in and twist the screw that holds the bracket to the light stripped out of the light so now the light spins inside the bracket. I'm returning them tomorrow through Amazon since the part did not come as described to fit. Does anyone know of any good LEDs for our fog lights? I think some people have used the OPT7s.

If you use fm radio, opt 7’s LED’s will cause static on your radio. If you plan on using Sirius then you will be ok.

I think the same can be said on most LED’s but I can’t confirm.

I just installed morimoto LED into my foglight this week. Im impressed with how bright they are. They did take some effort to install. O-ring might have been a tad too big but I got them in.

I'm leaning towards the morimotos I think. They look good. And morimoto backs their products from what I've read so far so if anything happens they should be easy to work with getting them replaced if needed.

IF you search there is a good LED fog thread on here with pics.

I remember ppl complaining about opt 7' and radio interference, not sure if it has been resolved.

I think ppl use these:
https://www.diodedynamics.com/9006-xml2-led-pair.html

I have the xml2 LED's in my fog lights. I can't completely comment on how bright they are because I have smoked lamin-x on my fogs, but I can say the stock bulbs with the lamin-x were really bad and the xml2 made them useful again.
