Hey everyone. VERY new to this, so here goes. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500
Quad Cab, 4.7 L 4x4. I have had the truck for approximately 1 1/2 years. Typical Wisconsin rust, blah blah blah. A few months ago, I started having some problems. It's always had a little tick, which I was told was likely a lifter. However, the new problem was while driving, it would die....while driving down the road at whatever speed. Pull over, turn it off, and it would start back up again. Initially it was mostly intermittent, but quickly turned into no longer being able to drive across town(our population is 1,026 people, so town's not very big) because it keeps dying. Did some research and ended up replacing cam and crankshaft sensors. Now it cranks for 10-15 seconds before firing. Last Thursday I had it towed to a shop, now awaiting word. On top of it all, while waiting for the tow truck, it died, and could not get it started at all. Any ideas from anyone that has more knowledge than me is appreciated!!

There are only a handful of things that's will make a engine bog out and stall, MAF sensor, O2 sensor, fouled injectors/plugs, or loss of cylinder compression. Get those checked, i bet you have bad compression.

Have the shop check all of the pertinent wiring. Power wires and grounds, intermittent problems (when they start) are almost always electrical.
