I bet I could clutch 7k if the body was mint, though, yeah? 112k miles.

Think it would be worth more in general if I facelifted it?

Where I live, a "face lift" will drop your value

good luck getting 7k for that truck, its an old truck man, just accept it, a face-lift wont change what the truck is, it is what it is, and to a dealer a face-lift means that the front end was wrecked and replaced with another one, so you will ultimately lower the value as ramportin said...

a dealer would probably list your truck under 7k i know around here i can pick up a qc hemi with a straight body used for well under 5k

Up here prices are insane, especially for an area like us. I paid 5g for my truck, and it wasn’t without its problems. It’s was one of the cheapest I could find with a Hemi that wasn’t complete shot.

Lol I so should of looked around before I bough this truck but I was on a real time crunch an I feel it was fate, was at a ford dealership an walking looking at trucks with my sales girl, she was showing me a few f-150s, mustangs, an we were prob there for a good hour an I was bout done. She ask What I’m looking for to write down to maybe find, and we’re walking and I’m telling her that I’m looking for a full- size RCSB v8 perferably, it worried so much bout Brand. As were walking towards the back of the dealership it was sitting on the new trade in spots in the dark. I seen it as I said I would really like a RCSB hemi Ram an seen the nose. The hemi badge on the drivers side looked like it had fallen off so as I get to it I realize it’s a hemi an say“**** just like this truck” figured it have like 120k miles but when I open an seen what it had an how clean it was inside(wish I could say the same for the rest of it) took it for about a 2 mile drive an was back in 2 days with my dad to co sign for me. I had drove earlier in the week a rumble bee at another dealership with right about the same amount of miles superclean but I couldn’t justify or afford double the price for a truck with the same drivetrain. Tho I’m bout over manual windows after 8 years.

Well, damn. I cant really argue my point anymore then, huh?

Well, I will say it must've been overpriced in 2015 for 13k. And the 05 SCRB I've been seeing in plant city at a buy here pay here lot is also overpriced at 10k (not a special edition truck, idk if it's even a HEMI)

Guess you do need cash to get a good deal. And selling on your own (not being a dealer) kinda screws ya.

the buy here pay here lots are the worst at jacking up prices, what they do is put a high price tag on it, and they tell you for 3k down we can meet any terms you want, what they dont tell you is that the down payment they sell it to you for is what they paid for it in auction, so by the time you leave they have made their money back, and then any payment you make is straight profit...

also they are counting on you to not be able to make your payments and let it get repossessed, which then they turn around and sell it again, for the same money down and what ever payments the next buyer agrees to, and then they just doubled their money in selling it and not even counting the payments all parties makes...

like you said best way to do it is sell it on your own...

i learned alot selling cars for the few years i sold em, although i made some good connections and learned a LOAD of info

So if I want the most I can get for it with as little money spent, I should wait for and pull a patriot blue fender and tailgate from LKQ, polish the **** out of it, and dump it for the first ~5g+ offer I get?
