Got my second strut from Amazon today. I had opted for a “Used - Like new” item for nearly $20 less. Well, looks like some chicanery was done. I received a bilstein 5100 in like new condition... but definitely not the right one.

Received the right strut on Saturday and put them both in today. 3.5 hours to install. Not too bad. Pics tomorrow.

Haven’t measured it but I’m happy with how it looks in the driveway after sitting overnight.

did you drive it around? That will help settle the truck.

Haven't had a chance to yet. I should be putting a few miles on her tomorrow. I also have to get the alignment done... :(

try to drive it some before they do the alignment. I put 50 miles on mine before alignment. you won't break anything by driving it before the alignment.

Thank you, all. I'll be doing some driving tomorrow and I will measure the height to the center of the wheel wells then. Once I get the alignment done, I will post before and after numbers there too.

They are set to the 2.1 notch (2nd from the top). No other modifications at this point. Stock springs, stock shocks in rear still.

Only 20 miles on her since install and the front end seems MUUUUUCH better! The original struts were definitely shot. Both were leaking visibly when pressed.

I probably could have gone with the 2.8 setting. I just measured after I've put 50 or so miles, still no alignment. Soon...

To center of wheel well
Front: 37.5"
Rear: 38.5"

I'm happy with this considering there is no weight on the rear at all, empty bed.

Gordin, that just means you don't need spacers for the rear.
