I didn't see this posted anywhere, but if it was, my apologies. Tonneau cover closes in the bed, bed mat grips but things still roll forward so groceries go everywhere. Measured the slot in the bed made for a 2 x and got one cut 67 1/4 long 2x10, treated so it won't warp as easily. They make organizers but the board is easy to drop in or pull out and lay flat so you can still haul stuff easily. Makes a nice little boxed in area at the back.

I've been meaning to do this since I got my truck. Thanks for the measurement. I think I have enough scrap lumber to make one of these.

IMG_0614.jpg Have had this in my truck ever since the day I bought it home.... works great. I agree it's removable and you can lay it flat n the bed if you need to haul something.

These are handy. I use the divider that came with my ramboxes set to roughly the same distance.

I just use a Harbor Freight adjustable ratcheting bar. I think I paid $20 and it works well. I like that I can put it anywhere.

Yes, that is the reason the truck bed has the grooves on both side.

There are also plastic boxes to strap in, cargo net hammocks, the cargo bar above, or what i use Bed Extender

It just depends on how much you wanna spend to to the same thing

I did the same thing with a load bar from a truck stop. I have had mine for about 10 years & it has rusted so bad it will not adjust anymore. Time for me to get a new one. :)

I did the 2x10 when I bought the truck. I drilled (3) 4” holes evenly spaced in the board. Drilled and counter sunk (3) 8” timber bolts from the top down through the center of the holes I drilled. This gives places to attach bungee cords to secure items.

I'm not sure of the size of tub, but I got them at Wal-Mart.

Tool box was purchased at Tractor Supply Co. Held in place using a couple turnbuckles.20170402_150125.jpg

I also have a 4x6 3/4" thick stall mat from TSC.

How are you liking your side cases. I have a set just waiting for it to warm up so I can put mine in.

Other than being grossly overpriced, they are decent. Two things I don't like: If they don't have a fair amount of weight in them, they rattle badly and when in the stowed position, they almost completely block the bed lighting. I plan on adding some under-rail lighting to take care of that. Overall, they are very handy and fairly rugged.

Cool thanks man. I have the ramboxes and a cover so that looks like it'll fit perfect.
