After reading the air box mod thread. Idecided to tackle it on the 09 2500 and due to the fender liner resting against the bottom of the box, I had to find an alternate solution. Fits between the fender line and frame like a glove

I’d close off that end of the pipe with some kind of mesh to keep the critters from nesting.

i can already tell a difference in the butt dyno, acceleration lag is now allot less at highway speeds. The airbox still pulls air from the fender like normal which is not very much stock there is no restriction basically a straight shot in. gas mileage did go up.

I will have to look into this Justice. Seem like a god idea.

I would paint the pipe black to make it blend in more.

A little creative shopping at Lowes. A 3" drain adaptor, cut out center crosshatch and smoothed down, screendoor repair kit and hoseclamps. This peticular cap has internal threads u can barely see a cap screws into so could be capped off if ever needed

is it really that much a difference? the air box pulls from the fender anyway...wish we cold get some ambient air temp readings
