Just got my truck back from the detail shop with a ceramic coating and a life time guarantee

They coated the glass, plastic and rims with a coat and put four coats on the paint, they had quite the job after the dealer ruined my drivers side door , but they got it looking real nice. Also had them replace the vinyl on the window pillars as mine was put on at the factory poorly
The correction they did was incredible, paint looks 10 fold better than the day I bought it

As much as these trucks cost they should be coming out of the factory with this coating

good bye wax !!!

Ok of those asking the cost is going to vary by the amount of correction prior, which warranty option you choose, 1,2,6, or 9 year warranty. A lot of variables. All detailers application cost will generally be around the same amount (or supposed to be)

It was $ 1,850.00

They called it level 1 paint correction as it just had surface scratches and swirl marks.

In the drivers side door they need to do a level 3 correction as they the dealer effed up my door fixing the radio and they repainted it with dirt in the paint and looked like an orange peel

After three tries I got my truck out of there. They had to wet sand it out, they did a great job as it looks as good as the rest of the paint now.

I was going to do a vinyl delete but there was a hard paint line that would have been difficult to overcome, so I had them reapply it. They did a way better job than the factory.

it is a lot of money but after waxing this a few times I was ready to pay what ever it was going to take.

Overall I think it is too early to tell if this is worth it or not. Time will certainly be the judge, However I am very happy with the results thus far

The black rear bumper will have to wait until next year

Looks great. The time you will realize it was worth it is when you swing by the car wash for a quick spray off, by hand, with just water....;)

Congrats, looks great. This was by far my favorite mod, going on a year now. It's now a must do for any future vehicle.

Has anyone done it on a black Forrest green paint job?

My FIL does clear body wraps and we talk about doing my truck but it needs paint correction which he doesn’t do because he only does the ceramic when he does a complete wrap and the ceramic goes on top.

If he does not do correction run away, that is why the coatings look so good
