I have a 2014 Ram Express 1500, with 265X70RX17 Tires on stock rims. What size would be equivalent to or just a tad bigger in 20" Tires? Wanted to put the 2.1" front level on the truck but with 265 tires, after the level, they would probably look like donut spares. Would the swap from 17" to 20" also mess up the speedometer calibration or anything else? Got the NEW Bluetooth Pedal Commander on order as well. Most of the newer Rams I see, have the 20" wheels. OEM for 20” wheels/tires is 275/60/R20 which is a 33 x 10.8” tire, while 265/70/R17 is a 31.6 x 10.4” tire.

Take a look here for comparisons on tire/wheel sizing.

However large or small you go there will be slight speedo issues, if you can live with that and know what your +/- mph is after a tire swap you won’t need to get a tuner or have the dealer flash the truck for the new size.

I have the Bilstein 5100 level at max at 2.8” in front and I’m running 275/65/R20 which is a 34.1 x 10.8” tire. I could have easily fit 35” tires on my OEM wheels, like many others have done on this forum, but at the time when I replaced my OEM tires I was more focused on safety (replacing crappy tires in the winter) and I didn’t have the Bilstein level so I went as large as I could fit at that moment.

Get a tuner, they can adjust speedo for tires also alot more features. I have Superchips. I have 20 inch tires love em went with Falken AT3W 275-55-20 never going away from these tires! The 275-60-20 oddly enough wasnt XL but SL unlike the 275-55-20 being XL. Food for thought
