I’m looking to buy a gooseneck hutch for my truck. Anyone have any good or bad to say about any hitches?
I’ve seen people say the b&w area good. What about drawtie and Kurt’s any help before I spend a few hundred dollars on this. Thanks

I’d like to know too. I got a quote from my dealer for $1700 to add factory prep. Seems a bit high to me.

Reese, B&W and Kurts are all ones I've used and never had a problem with any of them.

I’ve had nothing but B&W hitches in my fleet. Bought one truck with a factory gooseneck Prep and used the mopar and curt systems with that truck and haven’t really been impressed. The b&w are just a superior product in my opinion. They are definitely designed for people who use their in bed hitches on a very regular basis

Care to say why?

With heavy use the ability to remove the hitch is near impossible, they both quickly became full time in bed hitches. Unlike my b&w’s which go thousands of miles weekly and can be pulled out and flipped over in seconds

We had a B&W turn over and it was great and easy to use and I wouldn't hesitate to get one again if I needed one.

I think, could be wrong, you are referring to fifth wheel hitches and the OP was asking about gooseneck hitches.

I have the factory fifth wheel prep and run the Mopar gooseneck, never an issue in the three years I've been running this setup.

Are you saying after heavy use you are no longer able to remove the gooseneck ball from the factory setup? By heavy use do you mean frequent use or heavy trailers? If it is heavy trailers, how heavy? Thanks for the input as I have the factory setup on my Ram 3500 but have not used it yet.
