Wipers would not work

I have a 2017 1500 CC Sport with just over 10k miles on it. This morning when I left work it was about 20 degrees outside. I tried to clear off my windshield from some dirt, the wipers made two VERY slow sluggish passes and then wouldn't move again. When i got home 20 minutes later I turned the truck off and back on and the wipers seemed to work fine. No other issues in the truck that I noticed. Anybody know what could have caused this or had a similar issue?? I've had the truck for almost a year and this is the first time its ever happened...

I suggest you hit up the dealer since you are under warranty. Even if they can't find anything you'll be "in the system".

Thanks, I will be tomorrow. They seem to be working fine now. It wasn't like they were iced over or anything they just moved slow twice then stopped working altogether. Guess nobody else has had this issue, figured i would check. I'll ask them to take a look tomorrow but I'm sure with any other problem unless they can reproduce it they will just tell me it's fine.. Just hope it doesn't happen again in a storm.

Have you done anything to the truck electrically , or messed with the BCM forward of your E brake ?

I have been running HID kits in the projector headlights and fog lights for a few months, that's the only thing Ive messed with electrically.. That was about 5 months ago and no issues with them or the wipers since then.. They seem to work fine now, hopefully don't go out again in a snow storm..

Hmm , good luck & I know what you mean about rain + snow as we are projected to get 3-5" of snow tonight ....raining like hell right now and it's 45° out !

Thanks, yeah now I'm worried it will happen again! Guess I'm the only one who has had this happen. Well, I had them document it today.

And we are expecting 9 to 13 inches. Time to hit the ski slopes.
