Bilstein 6112's in the front and Bilstein 5160 in the rear. Rides like a freaking Cadillac.

Nice truck!

I was looking at those online yesterday and salivating.

Worth the money? That big of a difference ? I feel like the stock suspension is not that good and the truck feels spongy in corners.

Mods: EGR matte black bug deflector, Westin HDX drop steps, rough county bull bar with 20” LED, custom made NW seat covers in real tree camo, husky liner mats, husky liner mud guards, undercover LUX tonneau cover, Tailgate assist, flowmaster super 40 with resonators, tinted 15% front, LED C shaped tail lights.

I'm happy with it. I wanted to just level the truck, not lift it, and wanted to do it the right way. No spacer or block, an actual suspension leveling.

Hell yeah I love my 6112’s, my truck rides smooth.

Thanks for the pics of the 5160’s nobody else ever has.

Of course, man. Next step is to modify the wheel well to make the rear shocks pop more. I even got the black Bilstein mount for the reservoir, so it will look sharp once it's done!

IMG_4092.jpg IMG_4091.jpg IMG_4093.jpg IMG_4090.jpg Did this late fall and finally got the chance to clean it up and snap some pics! Bilsteins at 2.8 in front. 1" rear coil spring spacer and 1" longer Bilsteins in rear. Nitto Ridge Grapplers, 295/60/20. Stock 20" wheels, no spacers, no rubs. Very happy with how everything turned out. Could not have done it without the collective knowledge of those in this forum...thank you!

I had mine installed today and the off road place that did it said he didn’t want to set them at 2.8 because it would be putting to much of a pinch on my cv boot, I have a 2017 Ram sport crew cab 4x4 has anyone had them set at 2.8 and ran into this problem?

Did you tell him you're not paying them to do what they "want" to do, rather what they were "told to do??? lol If potential tearing of CV boots was a threat, they should have A: installed the shocks to your requested height B: informed you of the potential pinch and C: let you make the call if that's a risk you were willing to take.

My '17 Express at 2.8" put the front shafts at just about level to slightly angled down. No where near close to pinching the boot. But yours could potentially be different.

Yeah he was supposed to call me and run it by me if he didn’t feel comfortable setting them to 2.8 but I didn’t receive a call and he set them to 2.1 so yeah he should have set them to where I paid him to and that’s why he’s re doing them tomorrow.

Did you have any problems with your CV boot being in a bind at 2.8?

My truck is still at 2.8 and everything is perfectly fine.

I did run into a CV boot issue but it wasn’t due to the lift. It has since been fixed.

Definitely think it could easily be at 2.8 in the front with a 1 inch spacer in the back.
