Isnt Fluid Film supposed to help break up corrosion that already exists? Maybe pick up a spray can from Lowes and try that.

They also make spray intended for circuit boards to help clear corrosion on electronic contacts, CorrosionX is one of them. I think you can find it at a local marine supply.
I haven't made it back over there yet, but I'm going to assume no changes have taken place. I'm not willing to turn this into an extended project, so if I cant get the key in it, it's getting cut. I'll just chalk it up as a lesson learned and lube the **** out of every lock I have from now on.

The locks on my receiver hitch pin and trailer ball lock are Masterlocks and work fine. They've all been in the same environment but have barrel-type keys. The disc locks on the ramp door are Trimax and use flat keys. Coincidence? I'm no lock connoisseur, but that's enough to make me look for the same type locks/keys for the ramp door.

Hows the engine noise going on that work van?
Still ticking at hot idle and its starting to get a pretty nasty cold start tick. If it were mine I would try a different oil. It's had M1 5w30 it's whole life.

Are you using PUP or redline in you're personal vehicles?

My truck has Redline 5w30, wife's Jeep GC has SS 0w20, and the company work van has M1 5w30
Maybe recycle some of you're used oil into the work van, see what happens. If it goes south just shrug you're shoulders and say I don't know man, you know it's been noisey for awhile.

Damn good idea! I might dump the RL in my Ram into a clean container before we go to CO in August which MIGHT have 3000 miles on it by then and throw it in the van.

Where does he get all these RL stickers?

When I made a purchase from Nick@gotexhaust I told him how we have a very hard time finding the stickers .he contacted the manufacture and got them for me. I still have like 5 left ,two large ones about 3x6 and a couple of the smaller ones, about 31/2x2.

Here is the big one.....

If you want them from nick i’m assuming it’s not something that’s commonly purchased so I would do it during a red line order through nick.... not just ask for stickers.

Just an assumption.

We will never be able to tell you what is the best. As we have said many many times...we Just share our experiences and leave it up to you to decide whats best for you.

If you are looking for the absolute best wear numbers you can possibly get out of a given engine, just do a UOA program. In all honesty, This thread has never been about finding the best possible wear numbers as every engine has different results with oils.

Share your personal experiences here, we would love to hear/discuss them.
Very well said !!!!

My lunch view,

I sit at the loading dock by my self to avoid all the ******** work drama at the luch table. Lunch is a lot less stressful that way. Nice and quiet too.

I typically sit by myself out side as well , just to get away from the ******** ...in the lunch room .
This is my lunch time view . Not always so foggy ...but the flight line is my typical view [emoji106][emoji106]

LOL,

Just messin.

Rock those Amsoil stickers.
I don't like any stickers, decals, stripes, graphics, emblems, badges, louvers, murals, or anything else on the outside of my road-goers, so I just slap them on all my equipment. I probably have 30 Amsoil stickers because they always send at least one with every order, usually more.
