Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but most states require you to pay a percentage of the value of your vehicle. Ours is cheap in comparison

I paid $89 for tags and $35-$40 for inspection, but it is all weird here since they changed how all that process works

Georgia I only had to pay to transfer my title. The plates were free (Bronze Star Plates) and no inspection. I think I spent $20 total.

For me it's $80 for 2 years of reg, and like $250 impact fee to get a plate. $50 more for a vanity plate. You can upgrade to a vanity plate at any time for only the CNET $50 though.

Thankfully, at don't have inspections.

Yeah. I had to do 2 transfers, 3 title copies, 2 yrs registration to get 1 year on the road (happened a month before my birthday), and first plate impact fee. Paid right on $400.

Not to mention all the **** to get my license the first time a month before that.

Guess Florida makes up for having no inspections, huh?

Anyone in here have good experience with bedlining bumpers? I'm wanting to eventually put bedliner on my entire bumper because the plastidip is peeling and want to get something a bit more permanent. I can get the bottom half sandblasted for pretty cheap but I would have to sand down the plastic part myself. I'd like to have the liner pretty rough and something that won't chip off. Anyone got any ideas on a decently cheap (preferably spray-can) brand?

Spray can? Oh boy. Wait until ramboi gets on. He'll tell tell you all about his favorite product.

I've used herculiner, but not on my bumper. It peeled day one after curing, but that's because I didn't sand my primer.

So no matter what, always remember ro sand each step. Sand the surface, sand the primer(if you use it), THEN apply bedliner.

Sand extra and with rougher grit if applying to chrome.

I did my bumpers, wheel wells and all my rocker panels with a spray on kit from eBay. It’s more of an epoxy based bedliner, it’s not as rough of a finish as Line-X. I’d recommend it for the price, it’s held up well in the year and a half I’ve had it. You’ll need a decent air compressor to spray it, but it sprays very easily

Yayyy sanding is always so much funnnn /sarcasm. I think I'm going to take the bumper apart, get the bottom metal half sandblasted by a friend, while I'll just sand down the plastic top piece myself. At some point, someone replaced the chrome bumper that came stock on my truck with a stock bumper with (what I assume) was color-matched on the bottom half, but the paint didn't last thru being chipped away, because it had multiple holes with rust poking out when we bought it.

If the peeling plastidip thats on there now isn't enough, I couldn't handle something with more investment peeling off like the 15 dollar temporary solution I bought 6 months ago. I've been looking everywhere and quite a few people have had some success while using primer so I'm probably gonna end up with primer lol

Good. Just be sure to sand the primer, too. Don't be like me and think the primer is an adhesive promoter by itself, lol.

Pretty reasonable price for an entire kit imo. It also look really good on your bumper. I'm gonna keep researching until I can control myself to actually save some money lol
