Thinking about levelling my 2014 Ram and putting 35's under it , just wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with the MDS system with the bigger tires? Ive got a guy at work that has a 2012 and says his MDS is always bogging down /back and forth , 8 cyl /then 4 cyl. Any input will help!
Thanks

It will kick in and out of mds more frequently due to more rotational mass from the tires. Not much can be done about that other than turn mds off and realize, like many others, that it doesn't really help mpg much anyway. ;)

Tune it and get rid of that MDS stuff. More rotational mass and larger tire width will impact your MPG as well.

It'll run a lot better with a programmer and a custom tune.

Aside from just tuning out the MDS for reasons stated, my 2011 also ran/shifted funky until calibrating the tire size. All good after setting size to adjust speedo.

I’ve been running 35s for a few years on my 2015. Never had an issue with the MDS. I added a Pedal Commander which made it more fun to drive. I recently picked up a Rough Country Speedo Calibrator. It definitely helped with the shift points once the system learned a bit.
