Yea I hear you on the price. I found one used on craigs list and found the other used a month later. No issues at all. I do with I had the fold out floor though.

Hahahaha funny but true...... I can agree with their lack of customer service but one day a box brown box will show up and **** it’s there. Silicone is a must but it’s super easy to assemble. You will have no issues. In the future I will definitely buy another fox box. These things are made bad ass........

There is a shop near me that stocks the Fox Box, I lucked out and was able to get it from them for 269, which is about 30 bucks cheaper than it would have been going direct with shipping charges.

Update sub, amp and lc2i have been installed. I'll tune it tom. Install wore me out lol. The Foxbox arrived already sealed and assembled. Pix of installation below. Tapped off the stock alpine sub.

Box looks nice. One thing to note, the signal going to the stock Alpine sub is not a full signal. They cut the real lows to keep it from blowing up. Not sure the LC2i can compensate. You may not even notice, but, just in case it doesn’t seem quite right, it’s something to be aware of.

Install looks good. I'm late to the party, but here's a pic of my foxbox with my two JL10w6v3s. I still haven't done any dynomating and definitely need to... Hell I haven't even put my driver's side back seat back in yet lol.

With my failed MS8 install I can get those seats out in less than 5 minutes now. The seat lift mod helps greatly getting an impact on those rear bolts. The awkward part is the passenger sides weight and it wants to spring open when you grab it removing knuckle skin.
That’s not completely correct. The Accubase circuit will fill in for the factory volume roll off, which is great. It can’t make up for the high pass filter that is present on the factory Alpine sub circuit. To get around that, you need to pull signal from before that Alpine amp.
From the AudioControl site:
“AudioControl’s patent pending AccuBASS circuit is designed to recover the bass that goes missing when the volume is increased in some factory sound systems. Unlike The Epicenter®, AccuBASS is more like an EQ, which boosts from around 50 Hz to 125 Hz; AccuBASS will not add content which is not already present in the signal. AccuBASS can be set to activate only when the bass in the factory system begins rolling off (using the Threshold knob). The end result is a smooth bass response at all system volumes. Alternatively, AccuBASS may be switched to “always on” (again using the Threshold knob – turned fully clockwise) to give rich enhancement to the low end of your music, for systems that do not exhibit a bass roll-off.”

Sounds amazing to me. Hits nice and low... and being vented it really fills the cab. The only thing I'm seeing is sometimes I can hear my wire inside rattle which is an easy fix lol

Considering this is an addition to the stock alpine 8 I'll probably add an on off switch for this sub. The vented portion terrifies my Boston terrier (her home is the other 60% fold flat flooring) she was not a fan of the air

My overhead console shakes like no tomorrow I have no idea how Im going to fix that. Is not a rattle, the part closest to the windshield flexs over an inch up and down at full power.
