Now you just need a piece of soundproof plexiglass behind front seats to keep the ankle biters from deafening you and projectile vomiting on your neck....been there, done that, still kinda there...

Lol. No no issues with the dogs. Or the kids

I sure am liking those tips. Have been for quite some time, now. I’m just not so sure I want just the exhaust tips, or the replacement muffler to go with it. Lol.

I mean, I would love to have it, I just don’t wanna have to push a button on my steering wheel every time I drive my truck to keep the VVT from fudgin’ up the exhaust tone.

I don't even think about it anymore. I just get in, put my seat belt on, put the truck in 8, and go. It's just my normal routine. Sound aside, the truck just drives better in 8. There's no lag while it kicks on the other cylinders. Just smooth power all the time.

Did that for the first 37k. Have it disabled with the tuner now.

It would certainly be more convenient to get a tuner and turn it off, but I want to keep my warranty, so no tune for me.

Once the warranty was up for most stuff I went for it. Plus I have all my stock parts and could put it back. Pretty quick. Plus I take care of the heat/ac for 3 dealership s in the area.

Yeah, I will say that my old third gen drove much, much better with the MDS disabled, that’s for sure. But that was 10 year old technology compared to now, though. This ‘18 of mine is barely noticeable and if it wasn’t for me turning the little ECO light on, it’d be hard pressed to know when it engages. But I’m sure it would really be noticeable with a louder exhaust.

Since I got lifetime warranty on mine, I’m kinda stuck regardless but hell either way, I don’t wanna have to buy a new unlocked computer too. Lol. That tuner I had on my old truck was bad enough at 600 bucks. Lol. Didn’t have to by a new PCM. I mean, it helped a little bit on power but not really enough for what it cost. I primarily just bought the damn thing for disabling the MDS.

Removed the subwoofer. I’m old and don’t need the sound, but figured I could use the storage area. Ram used some good locktite on those bolts. Installed a Bakflip G2.

Wow, I’ll be 42 in August and I just added a whole lot more...379a47684b3bef782ddd12a9430bf4b4.jpg

LOL! I know, just wanted the space.

Those little 6x9’s in the front doors don’t do too bad at all for bass output by themselves. That wimpy 8 inch monstrosity they stuffed under the rear seat is about as worthless as **** on a boar hog anyways. Sure, you wouldn’t have to go the route I did but a simple little amp and maybe that 8 inch pioneer sub that everybody on here talks about in that box would be quite the addition.

I’m 45 and just redid my whole entire system. Lol. As we get older we get more hard of hearing and want more power [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
