Full length sliders with a step tube and a 60” Hi Lift solve the jacking/suspension droop problem for me.

Yup, the White Knuckle Off Road units are the only way to go... tried to order a set for my '13, but they are so heavy they wouldn't ship to me out here in the middle of no where. This is back before I figured out the Fastenal drop trick and use a Business Address.

They are one of the few reasons I purchased a pre-modded '16 PW that was already equipped with exactly what I was going to order, already on it when I got it.

I love the "Simon & Simon" graphics, but went with the loaded, nicely modded de-badged '16 Laramie with the nice Leather Interior, bed cap and blanket, and new AEM wheels and tires after stumbling into it on the lot.

Plenty of 'Desert Pinstriping' on the '13 as well, but buff out nicely.

Aweome stuff Low_Sky ! You ever going to share with us where your photos were taken?

North of the Wall ;)

I’m in south central Alaska. Most of these spots are on well known trails, some farther from the trailheads than others.

Most of the year my driveway is a tougher trail than most of the pour souls stuck in the lower 48 have easy access too. I know I’m lucky.

IRSmart - where are these all taken from?
The beach picture is Assateague Island, where I practically live in the summer on my days off. So peaceful and it gives you a beach experience unlike anything else. The gravel flex pic is an undisclosed location construction yard ;) the rest are from Rausch Creek in PA. The truck handled two Jeep Badge of Honor trails, but I didn’t log in for the badges since they say Jeep on them.

:favorites13:

That is hilarious. I've buried, broken and bent the wife's last two Rubicon Unlimited's far more times than I have my PW! ...even the newer one lifted, on it's 35's - bigger and more aggressive rubber than on my PW, believe it or not.
Actually, in these wide open spaces, I'd rather be in my truck anyway!!! :driver:

...and because I am a thread hijacking picture posting *****, I shall include a completely gratuitous stuck Jeep pic for grins.

One must say, I don't often get stuck, but when I do, I do it well, my friends. (In my best 'Most Interesting Man' voice imitation). :gr_grin:0111151333.jpg 0111151332a.jpg

Thanks for that information. I have yet to do any real off roading and I'm close to your location. A bunch of my neighbors have mentioned heading to Assateague Island but I've never been and it sounded like it was only flat and sandy.

I've not heard of the Rausch Creek park in Pa and looks fun.

Have you been or heard anything about the off road trails in the north western part of MD? Specifically the Garrett County state park? Per their website they seemed to have a good amount of off road trails for jeeps and trucks.

Glad you like it.
I've done some moves like the OP but nobody wanted to move in the cab and upset the truck balance. Many times I have been over a gap that I could walk under both wheels.
