I had a dual bbox and didn't like it. My new box sounds a 100 times better. I would recommend spending a little more on a better box. Some guys here will give you some good recommendations on a single sub box.

It looks ok as a basic, prefab, box. Can’t speak to the build quality but it’s definitely inexpensive.

You get what you pay for and the enclosure is the most important part of the equation. But, if you want to keep costs down....throw a sub in there, it'll make bass

Id spend 40 more bucks on a Fox box. Ive had 2 cheap prefabs and within a year they both started to fall apart in my Ram. The Fox is a tank

Dude, spend a few extra bucks. I have heard of fox box being favorable in this forum as WilliamS recommended. I'm telling you my new box compared to that bbox I had is no comparison. Huge improvement, hits much harder/deeper and better clarity. I am no car audio expert by any means, but have spent a lot on my home system and appreciate good sound. I can tell you chances are good you will eventually get rid of that bbox if it is anything like the dual bbox I had. Considering how much you can spend on the system, even if over time, just spend the few extra bucks on a good box now.

Can you educate me a bit? Or should I go to Google?
Depends on sub as well but my cliffnotes response is ported will offer a bit more output and fun factor. The sound will have more body to it and the punch will have a larger foot print. Where as sealed will be a bit more reserved, more linear and musical, and the punch will be sharper and quicker. Example, kick drums with sealed will be very accurate, and should keep up with little overhang and ported could be “slower”, thumpier, but a bit louder and full. Don’t get me wrong, custom ported boxes can be very quick, very musical, and accurate but that usually requires building an enclosure that perfectly matches the sub and its needs and parameters.

I have that same box in my crew cab and it does the job. I got mine used with a crappy sub in it and it sounded decent. Swapped the sub recently with a jl 10w3 and made a huge difference in sound quality. Ill probably replace the box at some point though, couldn't pass it up for the price i payed.
