Alright fellow 4th gen ram owners..I decided I was going to Install led interior lights. I went with LASFIT and they are super bright and work good..i Installed first the festoon dome bulb in the back with ease and it works good..second I installed the map lights, the drivers side light works good..well when I got the the passenger side map light it would not come on with my pushing the tap in, only if the door was opened, well that bothers me so I got to tinkering with it and flipped the bulb around and now it won’t come on at all. It will flicker and flash every once in a while if I rapidly push the map light button a bunch but never stays on more then a literal split second. I don’t think my problem here is the bulb because I put the same bulb in my plate light and it works fine but rather the assembly or something..any tips, tricks, and advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know what you paid for them, but it might be poor quality. I bought a $15 package of 5 bulbs off ebay, 1 dome, 2 maps and 2 footwell. Dome has been a champ ever since, the other 4 started to flicker and go out after a week and progressively got worse. Went to autozone and forked out about 8 bucks a bulb for the 4 that crapped and they work great.

Well that sucks, you shouldn't have a problem for that price. I can't really say you got one bad bulb or not and maybe it is something else.. Have you swapped them to see if you get the same result with the same bulb in the other map light or vice versa? If it worked in the license then maybe it is the map housing. Could also try pinching the bulb fasteners to make them tighter. Maybe it loosened when you removed the original light?

I’ll try that fastner thing when I get home, they seem snug though. I just called auto zone I’m going to try one of there lights and see if it works. Let hope so [emoji849]

Some guys said they had to replace the whole assembly on YouTube. But that makes no sense the dang thing worked fine literally 30 mins before I swapped em

Yeah, usually map lights are snug, too snug to say the least. I don't know about replacing the whole assembly, that's ridiculous, I'd be trying different bulbs.

Odd, never heard of having to use resistors for cabin lights. Headlights and tails, yes, but not cabin lights.
