Flashpaq 3865 and 87mm Throttle Body

It might fit. It's been a while since I had it so I can't remember if I had the early or late 04. Of it's a late 04 it has the same throttle body as 05-12. I'll call tomorrow to confirm the part number.

Flashpaq 3865 and 87mm Throttle Body

I have a 87mm ported throttle body and a Superchips Flashpaq 3865 for sale. Both came off my 2004 5.7. I bought a Cummins so I no longer have a need for either of them. The tuner has been unlocked and the throttle body has less than 5,000 miles. $150 for each or $250 for both, plus shipping.

    Plasti dip

Okay thanks for the help. As long as it covers it up ill be happy. I'm not picking with wheels or how good they look under close speculation. It's a truck. I know cleaning them is wicked important but do I need to sand the chrome to rough it up or will it adhere to the chrome fine?

    Plasti dip

I'm going to plasti dip my badges, grill, grill inserts, chrome bumpers and rims. The chrome rims that came on the truck when I bought it are a little pitted and rusted, nothing too bad. I was just wondering if that will affect how the plasti dip adheres.

    My new baby

Believe me I know. I wanted a CR 5.9 with under 100k but not beat to hell and 4x4. This was the only one in my price range and she's a beauty.

    My new baby

Yeah I'm wicked picky when it comes to colors. I got lucky finding the exact truck I wanted in a color I love.

Bulldog power pup. Haven't heard many good things on them but I'm gonna buy gauges before I get a better tuner.

    My new baby

Just picked her up today and I'm already deeply in love. Traded in my '04 Hemi for an '04 Cummins. 88k on the clock and runs like a beauty. Already straight piped and came with a tuner. Has a CAI but other than that its pretty simple. I'm saving up for some gauges for it now.

So I'll be buying my first CTD here in the very very near future. I'm still in the process of learning as much as possible since I'm new to the game. Someone please explain an EGR delete for a 2004.5 for me. I need someone to break it down Barney style for me because I've done a bunch I research...

^^Can't argue that. The one I'm lookin at comes with a bullydog, and he has already deleted all the crap holding back that sweet cummins sound.

    In the market for Cummins

Besides the increase in hp and torque are the trucks built in the second half of '04 better/worse or no different than the early half?

    In the market for Cummins

Also, any well formed arguments that I can use to convince my wife would be much appreciated. Yeah I found an 04, not yet sure if its the 600 or not, with 87K on it, 4" turbo back, bulldog, with an intake. Clean looking rig for 24K

    In the market for Cummins

I currently own a 04 Hemi QC. I'm looking to buy a diesel in the next few months. Based on the little research I've done so far as well as my budget (+/- $20K), I'm looking at getting a 5.9. I know more about gas trucks than diesels so any advice as far as what years to look at/avoid would be...
