Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Control arm angle most definitely does have an effect on the ride. On the HD trucks (or any solid axle vehicle for that matter) that is one of the main reasons why the larger lifts go to long arm kits. The ride quality difference between a 6" short arm kit and 6" long arm kit is very noticeable.

    AlfaOBD Support For 06~12 Rams

Sorry, to re-phrase. The Canada DRL will simply turn them on in one step. To use optional DRL the DRL setting in the main menu needs to be turned on as well which a lot of guys miss as it's not in the car configuration change.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

The reason for that is at the lower setting your control arms are closer to level which allows them to absorb the bump rather transferring some of the force up through the control arm into the frame of the truck as it does when they're at a steeper angle. Changing the preload itself is not...

    AlfaOBD Support For 06~12 Rams

You need to change your DRL configuration to Canada DRL. The optional DRL won't turn them on. With fog lights as DRL you shouldn't need to have dropout enabled. That will turn off your fog light when your signal light is activated. This is really only needed if the signal light is used as...

    Paint Panhard Bar?

The Hellwig sway bar is likely powder coated silver vein. You won't find a paint that matches is exactly but the hammered finish is likely the closest you'll get.

    Rough Country 6 Inch Lift

Between the two, you're far better off going with Zone. The components and quality of the kit are simply better all around.

RCX 4 inch lift kit. 2 issues. Front seat bar and driveline vibration.

Rough Country has been known to send the incorrect front diff drop brackets with certain kits causing the pinion angle issue that you have. That angle is definitely way too high and needs to be corrected. The A-arm and CV shaft angle really surprises me as well. It almost looks like the...

    Steering Braces

I've had a HBS brace on my truck since I lifted it and put 37's on around 150,000 km ago. Steering is still good and tight with no issues. I'd definitely recommend installing one when putting any kind of tires on larger than stock. Bracing the steering box is never going to be a bad idea...

    Leveling kit advice

I wouldn't recommend running 325/60/20's with only a leveling kit. It's simply too much tire and you're going to have rubbing issues no matter what. You'd be better off sticking with a 35x12.5 which runs a little smaller in both height and width. For spacers, you'll need a minimum of 1.5" to...

    HD Lift and Tire Information

It looks like you're running aftermarket wheels in the picture? Hard to tell. If so, were hub rings installed with them to make them hub centric rather than just relying on the lugs? If not, that may be your issue. It is very common to have a vibration/wobbling issue at highway speed without...

35s and leveling kit -19 offset

They'll rub for sure but that's nothing that can't be solved with a little plastic trimming. The main issue will be on the back of the inner fender liner. Easy plastic to trim off and it won't even be noticeable. I doubt you'd have rubbing issues on the front but if you did, again, it would...

Pocket fender flares vs offset and tire width

A 9" wide wheel with a -12 offset and 12.5" wide tires will be the closest to flush with the pocket flares.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

You should be able to clear a 295/60/20 with that setup. The odd truck has a rubbing issue with them but it's not very common at all.

    Air filter on turbo

I've seen a few different studies on air filters comparing the performance and filtering abilities of them. While K&N flows very well, it's actually terrible at filtering air and lets a ton of particulate through it. Fine for a vehicle that's not driven much or doesn't see a lot of dusty...

2010 Dodge 2500 Removal of lift kit.

As the other guys stated, there's no issues removing the kit and going back to stock provided the 6" kit wasn't one that required the control arm brackets to be cut off the frame.

    Air filter on turbo

I wouldn't definitely not recommend doing that. The filter will get wet down there and won't be good at filtering anymore if that's the case. I also wouldn't recommend running a K&N filter on a daily driven vehicle.

    BDS lift kit

Part of your decision on tire size will be based on what wheels you want to run. If you go with a wider wheel you won't be able to run 37's because of clearance. With your truck having 3.92 gears and an 8 speed I wouldn't hesitate to run 37's though if that's the route you want to take...

Bilstein Level - Control Arm Failure

New UCA's aren't required with Bilsteins as they don't allow the suspension to overextend like spacer type leveling kits do. It's the overextension of the front suspension that causes the ball joint to pop out of the stock UCA. You can still use aftermarket UCA's with Bilsteins as insurance...

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Yes, you'll be able to run 285/60/20's on 20x9 +25 offset wheels. It's going to be very close, but they should fit. You do know that the difference between a +19 offset and +15 offset is only 4mm (3/16") correct? That's not much more clearance if that's what you're looking for.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

You can run 17x10 wheels no problem. I'd recommend a -12 offset for your setup. You can run a -24 offset as well but that will require more trimming. The -12 offset may require a small amount of trimming as well.

Stage 1 Leveling Kit.. Trac Bar a must?

An adjustable track bar recenters the front axle after the level. Without it your front axle will be off to the driver's side of the truck. Aftermarket track bars also have far better rod ends/bushings on them that won't wear out like the factory ones tend to. Especially if you plan on...

    Quality Leveling Kit Brands

Thuren and Carli both make great systems that are worth checking out as well. Their leveling springs combined with a good set of shocks and an adjustable track bar will be a great setup.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Yes, you could still have ball joint issues with running leveling spacers with the Mevotech UCA's. Multiple people have had failures with Mevotech's and spacers. This is why I recommend Zone UCA's if you are going to spend the money on an upgrade. Bilstein 5100's are still a better option all...

    Leveling question

You can... but you're far better off going with a set of Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts to level it out. You can read up on that more in the Guide to Leveling linked in my signature.
