Ok so tonight after adding some LED's to teh ashtray and cup holder area by accident I discovered that the connector that's plugged nearest the center console has something to do with the comms bus. Unplugged and starting the truck teh odometer area displayed 'no bus'.
The small loom witht eh green, red, blue wires goes to an ignition disabling device. Let me get a shot of that connector without the cover on it. I had someone else suggest that it might be for trailer brakes.
I have two plugs under the driver's seat. One that's just a coupler and the second connected to a Y. First end runs to the driver seatbelt latch, second to a this length of loom under teh center 'seat'. Then another Y... one to teh center seat belt latch then the last one to the passenger...
So tonight I went plug hunting, mainly because I am still having the airbag chime and light issue.
Two questions:
Anyone know what these are for/go to?

I have an orange wire in the engine bay, passenger side firewall with a tag that says PTO. It appears to have never been tapped or spliced into. Anyone know if there was any factory option like this?
I see you did not get a single reply here. Sad. If it was me I'd try adding some resistance. Say 100ohms and go up until the glow is no longer present.
So when I bought my truck the PO's had ran into something up front. So teh lower half of teh front bumper is slightly bent in with a divot right behind the front license plate bracket.
The distance is enough that you can readily see it when viewing from the side. And the plate bracket covers...
Shit.. my bad. For some reason typing I get them confused. I am talking about Airbag.. I'll fix the OP.
No Ive got an '02 (3rd gen body style) crew cab with 5.9.
AirBag Dash Light
So yesterday while driving home from work I heard the chime noise and looking at my dash the Airbag light was on. I chalked it up to a one off but today it happened a number of times. 90% of them while on rough gravel roads. Logically there's a loose connector somewhere...
