What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?
Took mine in for 30k mile service. oil change, tire rotation too. They're also fixing a couple of recalls and screwing back in some trim that's popped off in the interior as a result of my black lab going everywhere with me in the truck lol- chuck

Cb radio location with center console?
I haven't switched my CB over to my Ram yet from my last car...its been three years so clearly i've been slacking. If I do install it I think I would put it under the radio screen where that pull out drawer is. That way it would basically be just like another part of the center console and radio... -

Sounds about right to me. I'll check out those Toyo's too. And yeah, agreed about these Goodyears. I expected better from them. My stock tires are a constant source of embarassment, I just haven't had the money to get them replaced lol.- chuck

I would say it's probably about the same either way...in my opinion it would come down to your personal preference on whether or not you want the amenities of the newer truck. I love my 2013.- chuck

If you browse through the forum you'll get a ton of good info. I personally have the 18" magnaflow. Would highly recommend it. I started with the Vararam and now have the Mopar after-market CAI. a loud whining/howling sound at start up when it’s really cold outside
So glad someone started a thread on this. My 2013 5.7L does the whining/chirping noise without fail everytime I start it from a cold start. If it's below about 25 degrees Fahrenheit for the whole night, the thing screams when I start it in the morning. I always assumed it wasn't an issue, just...- chuck

Navigation System - No auto mode
I have a 2013, no Nav system on mine, but my gauge cluster and uConnect screen both just dim based on my headlights being on or off. Nothing automatic about mine.- chuck

Interesting. I just read an article online the other day that newer model vehicles only should idle for about 30 seconds-1 minute before being lightly driven to warm the engine up. Not sure how much I believe that though, and what year they consider a "newer vehicle". I still let mine idle for...- chuck

oil change
I change mine around every 5-6,000 miles. I'm pretty sure I've discovered that the percentage shown by the computer in the truck is purely based on mileage driven since the last oil change and that it doesn't actually measure the oil or the need for an oil change.
