Well, I'm finally getting back into the swing of things now that school has died down a bit! So I started off with using the 2008 4.7L spreadsheet and adjust from there . . . no good haha I have to start from scratch since I run 4.56 gears and definitely running a bit high on the RPM before the...
Well hot d***, a fellow Kyle age 23 rocking a 4.7 . . . Only difference, I lucked out and got to keep the cool (in my opinion) body style of the 3rd gen but get the 09+ 4.7 engine :rockit:
So I am to assume with relative confidence that this TB will not fit on either the 03-07 OR the 08 4.7 ?
I can attest to the 4.56's with a 4.7 seeing as how that's what my baby runs. As for the 70mph rule of thumb goes, it's true. I'm still running stock tires but it STILL improved my mileage pretty nicely, I'm sure it may or may not improve again once I move to 33-33.5" tires to drop the rpms...
I forget what gauge wire I used (14 from the look of it) but I simply dremelled out a couple of the pin sockets and made holes for my wires to be fed through.
It worked out great for me since I could keep the stock wires for a simple stupid reason as "just in case" ....
Sorry if the images...
Well, after printing up the 08' 4.7L schedule from Directory Listing of /superchips/ I found that there were some BIG differences in that the TP% was a tad off or that the MPH couldn't go as high or spot on due to the increments available.
So I just adjusted relative to the schedule and wrote...
Running the Cortex 3950. And with your TM at 8% .... I guess setting mine to 25% and working down from there is a good starting point to just FEEL what kind of a difference it is .... wouldn't hurt anything right?
Yeaaah, I've looked over the FAQ from the site and remember a lot of chatter about the subject back when the ATT was still in beta testing. I'm probably just going to go out and write down what the stock&SC shift schedules are and see how they compare to the listed 08' 4.7L schedule.
But I'm...
Ok so after finally getting around to it, I've updated my SC and FINALLY worked it out with SC to fix my programmer so that I can purchase and download the Advanced Trans Tune option....
Now on to the business. I've downloaded the 08' 4.7 shift schedule from Directory Listing of /superchips/...
I used to run a Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow and it lived up to its name, the dronemaster. I've since been running the AT 3030XL (Aero Turbine) and it's roughly the same moderate noise level, just with two noticeable differences: 1) It is a much throatier rumble (probably due to it's straight...
I would REALLY appreciate it if / when the customer gets and installs his/her new freakin AWESOME  status headlights. To please post PICTURES of them installed or send JJ the pictures ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
God I'd love to see the end results of the 06-08 white headlights ^_^
I say this because I've been going back and forth and I will for a few years to come (until she's paid off) When I start the transformation from an ST model to a Storm Trooper look. I don't know if I want black housings or...
I may need to have my Tuner wiped clean so I can finally purchase and start messing with this feature on my 4.7 . . . I remember back when the upgrade was offered free for a short period during it's grand release, requirements were VIN locked blah blah blah. And at the time it was for the 5.7...
Perfect ! ! ! I've been wondering what to do with my spare LEDs haha I ordered a few extra for the just in case factor. And again they will be a matching blue, LOVE IT !
Love the look of the Venom hood you have in combination with the Volant RAM air induction.
As far as the Max HP and TQ  No need for towels haven't been swimming in a while.
Just bein a good boy and saying in public view I'll "only" use them during the day/evening time :naughty: What can I say I dislike tailgaters when I'm doing the speed limit or higher especially when the next lanes open.
Paints dried, be back later after dark with some shots.
Well after tonight I should be looking at a set up similar to CB's under the rear leaf springs. Was rather interesting trying to figure out how to mount them but with some left over bracket metal from the E-Fan (teach's method) and a few coats of paint to prevent rusting, I figured a way...
