Wow. Thats sad...... And the upper crossmember bolts being lose isnt true. I took it to RCX and they completely took off the lift and put it back on. The squeak was there before and after. Get that cummins!! Same thing I did. My 1500 had 13k miles and only 6k on the lift and I just had to have a Cummins. Go 2012. Huge rebates and discounts. -
Need Nitto Terra Grappler advice please!
Agree on the mileage. Mine lasted 40-50k on my 06 Cummins which is heavier than a 1500. I would expect you to get much better than I did. Sand - Great. Street - Great. Mud - Ok. Snow - Good (IMO with what I deal with). If I ever went back to an A/T I'd run Nitto Terra no doubt and maybe Toyo... -

Need Nitto Terra Grappler advice please!
I mean no A/T is good in mud... But I loved my TG. They handled snow pretty decently. But no A/T is going to astound you in mud. In my opinion, they are great tires. Probably my favorite A/T. I say get them. Just don't expect them to get you through a swamp -

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thats my feeling... I have 430 miles now on my 2500 and I need an 02 Sensor. But Honestly I dont care since it is all getting replaced for free under warranty. There is not a single perfect diesel truck out there that runs problemless forever.- Ram725

My 2012 2500 wont be worked too hard. Just a daily driver. But I have a warranty... Probably in a year or two I will be doing deletes. Its common knowledge that diesels need extra work, maintenance, and cost more to maintain. No diesel is perfect or cheap to drive. They cost more. But they...- Ram725

Lift kit and impact on towing capacity?
The truck can still tow. My 1500 on 8" and 37s could still tow. The problem was the tires and weight of the tires. I doubt it would have been effective towing at max capacity either up or down a hill or stopping. That is just my opinion. 7-8k and under and you should be fine. If you plan on...- Ram725

A few Sad/Happy pics. It amazes me how close the 2500 sits next to the 1500. With 35s I feel like the 2500 will be close in height... to a 1500 with 8" and 37s. Cant wait to get this thing built- Ram725
