    If I had the money to color match I would, but I went with black for now. I'll be the first to say I think the flat black makes it look like a base model truck, but I think anything is better than chrome!

    Makes complete sense, with my ignorance I have just always referred to all of these products as waxes. Isn't there a final "stage" wax(?) that protects everything in a way? I should know all of this by now, I worked in a classic car restoration shop for years but never got into the detailing...

    Thanks a lot for your input Dan. I've had the truck for a little over a year now and can't believe I haven't clayed it yet. Going back to what you said though about not having to use all the pads.... if I wanted to do the complete process with all the waxes wouldn't I need to use all the pads...

    What makes 3rd Gen the best Gen?

    I like my 3rd gen for the ride comfort and the interior, but it wouldn't be able to follow my old 2nd gen anywhere off road. I don't have a favorite out of the two, but I know if this 3rd gen had a solid axle then I would definitely take that over the 2nd gen.
