    First I've seen of it. Have you looked over on some of the other FCA forums to see if any of the other UConnect folks had this issue? We all have the same unit and I doubt you are patient zero with this. A Charger 392 guy on YouTube gave me tips on my head unit.

    Casper, it is really not as loud as you would think. At idle, you can hardly tell the muffler is missing. The sound comes from a cold start and marrying the pedal to the floor. Do you get noticed, you bet but it is not "1960's Glass Packs" loud. But yeah, your dog would be waiting for you...

    My procedure is a little different but with the same results. Pull in spot, keep foot on brake pedal -> shift in park -> parking brake -> take foot SLOWLY off brake pedal to let the truck rest on brakes and not transmission. I cringe every time I see someone slam their vehicle into park.

    So I got in an accident today....

    I was on the interstate doing about 60 when he hit me doing 80+. There was some frame damage as well as the bed denting the back of the cab. That one pic doesn't tell the whole story. Walked away with a concussion and a sprained wrist but at least I walked away.
