Plenum Thread by DD94 and Merc
P4876772 Intake Manifold Attaching Bolts $7.75 set.
That's a Mopar Performance part number per the thread, the thread also states that sometimes the performance parts are cheaper than stock parts. IIRC author specifically sites this as one of those instances.
Yup only reason I said it is because they are TTY - now that the motor is out its alot easier to get to those guys. I did the plenum fix in June and with the motor in the truck intake work isnt the funnest thing around. Both of my front two intake bolts snapped on removal - Thank God it was the...
I dealt with the plugged cat in November. Due to constraints of time I ended up taking my Metabo to the Cat and prying it open to get it back home ( I had a chunk of cat break completely free that clogged me up almost 100% )
I cleaned out the cat hammered the cut in and welded a patch over it...
I had this problem back when I still had my 2000 Dakota 4x4 with the 3.9L Magnum.
Ended up being sludge in the pan that was clogging up the pick up tube for the oil pump. I would highly suggest at this point dropping the pan and inspecting what it looks like. If it is a sludge problem now is...
My VSS has been inoperable since May of 2013. No harm comes from not replacing it immediately unless you have lead foot syndrome and need to know your speed, or do not know how to pump brakes when your ABS is disabled. You should be fine.
Taking off the spare will help. Keep us in the loop.
Hey Wayne - Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable people on trannys will chime in but as far as TC's are concerned I would go ahead and get a good Reman or a new one - no telling how many miles are on the one that comes with the new tranny (if there is one) and since...
Most likely your VSS. It sits on the top of the rear differential - it doubles as the speedometer and anti lock brake sensor. It plugs into the wiring harness and is theaded into the rear differential. My bet is that is where your anti lock problem lies - its about a $35 part from the chain stores
DD94 nailed it - too much lift on an old stock Track Bar. Get an adjustable just not an OEM replacement or you will be feeling it again when you wear out another OEM bar.
Not a fuse - prolly needs a VSS. Not sure if its the same on a cummins but on a 1500 it screws into the rear diff - it also acts as your ABS sensor as well.
As far as running the brake line it depends - if you are familiar with running lines and bleeding brakes its no problem. If your not...
a clean throttle body is not a guarantee of a good plenum gasket. My throttle body was fairly clean when I had to replace mine. I would read over the plenum thread and double check yours.
Really depends on how thick you are applying your herculiner. I had my truck done over the wells and down the rockers and doors with Rhino Lining for $600.
My Rhino is way to thick to be able to properly put any fender flares on (it got 2 coats). I would say your best bet is to just primer...
I have ebay lights - Smoked Head Lights, Tail Lights, and Cargo Light. $305 is alot of mullah i'm only $200 deep into mine, But I guess that grille makes up the difference, it doesnt trip my trigger but if its what you like go for it.
As far as fit the third brake light and the tail lights...
Would really help if there were some pics.
That being said if the truck goes in a straight line down the road under her own power and stops with her own breaks and doesnt do anything weird in between those two things for a $1000 your prolly doing ok.
I had my front two manifold bolts break that was great feeling when I was pulling the intake lol. The PO had attempted to fix the heater bypass hose by putting a hose clamp around it where it connects to the intake. I had thought my waterpump gasket was leaking when it was just streaming out the...
That's what it is here to the degree. just throw a tarp over her and stuff a salamander in there with you
:grd: or your :shitsweak:
I was lucky enough that mine went bad in June, but i was out burping my coolant system last night so i know the suck.
When I did mine I had $130 in the kit then you have to figure on coolant for the whole system.
There is a guy on ebay who sells plates he has lasered himself. DodgeDude94 knows more about his parts/quality I would hit him up about it. I just ordered the Kit from Hughes.
It can be done in...
