KYB Shocks
So dont sweat it. Any feedback on the Gas Adjust KYBs? Im wanting a bit firmer ride and am still on stock shocks at 120k and they are on sale. :naughty: This is a 2wd Megacab 5.7 truck. thanks again, wallace -

I have a 2006 2wd Megacab, going to put new shocks on, think about the KYB Gas Adjust. But I notice they dont have dust covers for the pistons. Anyone have thoughts and recommendations.? -

2006 1500 Shocks
I thought the megacab 1500 2wd used the same shocks as the 3/4 ton megacab. RockAuto shows a different number. Thoughts? Differences? -

Front Bump Stops
Mine sit in a cup and look like a soft serve ice cream cone. They just sorta press in and there are a couple barbs in the cap rim to hold them.- mopar2ya

Differential bering kit Q's + LSD Question
I have a buddy giving me a new Mopar gear set for an 2006 with the 10.5AA diff. Its just kinda noisy, so the question is 1- recommendations for a bearing kit? and 2- options for a LSD without breaking the bank. Its just a road truck, so I dont need anything extreme. thanks,- mopar2ya

seat cushions
I had a shop put new foam in mine, he also added some heavy canvas to the metal seat frame parts to help keep the foam from getting cut getting in and out of the truck. -

Best seat lift repair
So my 06 Megacab suffered the old stripping of the plastic gears on the front lift motor. I scoured the internet for advice and options, and low and behold I found a NEW generic seat lift motor that was almost a straight drop in for 15.00. YUP $15.00. Best of all the gears are METAL..WOOT... -

day 3 of freon watch..... Still blowing cold. It was the dang caps causing the leak!!!! -

We sniffed both on and off, but the sniffer really didnt like the wind off the fan when running. As of this evening its still holding pressure with a 40 degree drop in temp. -

When it was at my buds work (Kenworth dealer), we used a Snap-On sniffer and it showed nothing... But then again if I take it somewhere and they say its part "X" and it they replace it and it still leaks, Im not paying for the part.... -

One last thing to try. I was told to take my caps off the pressure ports as sometimes they have been known to slightly depress the valve causing a freon leak. ALso pop the clutch off and see if theres any oil behind clutch and look at the high pressure release on the back of compressor... -

If Im losing freon with the truck NOT running, the compressor would remain sealed in your/this case, so could it be a compressor still? -

I dont know what you mean by a radiator for the A/C. Theres a Condenser under the hood and a evaporator in the dash.... I inspected the back of the condenser tonight and didnt see any wet/oily spots. No oily smell in the cab. Where was the compressor leaking? -

Its a 2006 1500 MegaCab with a 5.7 Owned it 3 years it always had a slow leak about 1 can a year. However this year Im losing 80% of the freon in less that a week even if the car isnt driven. I took it to my friends work and evacuated the system, then pressurized it to 280 psi with nitrogen...
