I think it's just a good habit to look at not only multiple tires but multiple sources of tires and wheels. When you find the tire you want, look at multiple online sellers and see which one sells them the cheapest. I've found Tirerack to be alot cheaper for Goodyear tires than other websites...- Deblackmon3

This is the first time I really wish I could see a video of it running or just be there to look at it. Check for cracks in the intake and exhaust manifolds, if you ran it from Florida to Tennessee you drove that thing pretty hard. Fuel Pump is a good check, I wouldn't worry about the smog pump...- Deblackmon3

I have a smogged '90 TBI. Basically what Dodgedude94 said, just try to take off as much smog gear as you can without screwing over the computer ;P There are just so many hoses and vacuums on that thing that it's beyond ridiculous. Diaphragms are found in the transmission, so that wouldn't be the issue causing it to stall in park/neutral. If you redid most of the vacuum tubes, recheck the connectors for them and make sure you tightened them enough but didn't over-tightened. The throttle body temp sensor mainly makes sure that the fuel mixes correctly when the engine is hot. Since you mention that all of this happens after it's warmed up, I would test that sensor more. I just checked up on the sensor count you mentioned. Depending on how old the engine is, Chrysler implemented a custom fuel-injection system for the V8's from '88-'91 and the v6 Dakotas from '87-91. If you want a 318, I have one for sale haha. It works, but it would be best to rebuild it. I would rebuild it myself, but I don't have the money for it. It also came off of a 1990, so it should wire up without much difficulty. You'll definitely want a new radiator though. The v8 takes alot more...- Deblackmon3

Just an update, my engine threw a rod, a combination of overheating, gunk in the oil, and probably so much more. I'm not sure if I'll have to sell the truck or not. I don't have the money to fix it now, but I need a daily driver.- Deblackmon3

Final Update, unfortunately. Installed the new waterpump and temp gauge, everything was working fine. I was testing this morning, going at various RPMs to test for any leaks at different pressures. Well, it isn't a small overheating issue, that's the thing. If I keep driving it that engine will die, it overheats every time I drive. I'm just going to pull it out and rebuild. While I'm doing that I can do body work and suspension.- Deblackmon3

The truck is the cheapest one to insure that we have. I was thinking of pulling registration along with the insurance so we don't have to pay taxes for the truck, save even more money ;P We actually only have two other cars, so I wouldn't have any car to drive myself. As long as the hose is long enough to reach it, it should be fine. I still would try to clean the old one though if you can salvage it, then return the new one, again if you can.
