    It sucks, but the bad thing about Rams are the depreciation, try taking it to a ford or GM dealership if you want to see low offers..lol

    It's priced at blue book so its as good as anything else, These trucks drop value pretty quick so it's probably not a bad buy at 25/26, I couldn't find the gearing on it, I would use that as a point if they are not 4:10's

    I have driven the tundra and thought the exact same thing. Who knows, the tuning on the 6.4 may be for our benefit, longevity etc, after having owned a 2nd Gen I will take any Dodge transmission that will last over 50K...lol

    I tried Mobile 1 and I had more engine noise, tried it for 2 OCI's and am back to the Penzoil, runs quieter now. As for octane, I think the trucks are tuned for 87

    Over 60K on mine and still waiting for it to "get better" the only thing stopping these trucks from being "totally awesome" is the transmission programming.

    Transmission Flush

    It won't grenade right away, I think the best Chrysler method for their transmissions is not change them at all, let em blow, rebuild and repeat. In my experience you get the same result. In all fairness to Chrysler, Fords and Chevy transmissions are not much better.

    Stay with 1500 or get 2500

    Your not going to see a great difference with the gas motors on the 2500 and unloaded you may average 14-17 depending on the amount of stop and go. The diesel may get a bit more. You will notice a difference in the towing/stopping/stability etc.

    $80 here for the 6.4 I use the dealership since the oil it requires is such a pain to find.

    I ran the same mobil1 in mine for two cycles and it sounded like a diesel as well, switched back to the penzoil and it is much much quieter. These trucks seem to be particular with their oil. i just wish it was more available.

    front end clunk/click

    There is known clunking issue with the front end that I don't think anyone ever found the exact defect/problem. Yours may be one of those that has it. If so it has probably been doing it since almost new.
