What did you do to/with your second gen today?
If it was the clutches or bands it would do it consistently. But it only slips once in a blue moon. Its along with the shudder makes me think that the torque converter is failing on me. Either way when I pull the trannt im owed a free rebuild by my transmission guy so it will be getting rebuilt...- quadcab

Finally emptied junk from bed into dumpster at work. Which means I drove it to and fron work today 70 miles round trip. Started to noticed it feeling kinda sluggish and hesitating below 2300 rpm. Also still getting occasional slip from trans under hard throttle above 4k rpm along with what feels...- quadcab

Hes referring to the retainer clip. However I would advise not hooking that cooler line up. What probably happened was the truck suffered a catastrophic transmission failure and debris got all inside the cooling system. Plenum repairs

Yes I am. Truck would not warm up this morning. Drove 30 miles and never got over 130 deg. So I picked up a 180 tstat and pulled it in the shop tonight. I got distracted with other things though and didn't get around to installing it. Cel came on on the way home, hoping it's just a temp code...- quadcab
