    Missing the truck...

As is the CX-5 comes oh so close to being able to do what I think would be an ideal CUV. I guess that's why its an issue. Otherwise, 80% of the time it is a great car. Still, nothing like a V8 and the versatility of a RAM!

    Missing the truck...

I only had the 1500 for a short time but I'm really missing it this week. Right now we are on our annual camping/road trip with family. We bought the Mazda CX5 and although a great city and day trip vehical we had to leave behind all folding chairs, the big tent and substitute a one plate burner...

    Mossy Oak is Back

I agree with dmclone, pretty ugly. If you are going to do the camo, make it right. Make the top edge at random heights so it blends gradually into the main paint job. Might be pricier but it would look 100% better.

    ENRAGED! EcoDiesel Delays AGAIN

I think saying the product will fail if you don't buy it is a lot to put on the head of a potential buyer. It's the consumers choice. If the ECO diesel fails it will because of marketing like baggedlvintegra said or because of potential mechanical issues from a 'first-run' model or a combo of...

    ENRAGED! EcoDiesel Delays AGAIN

I know its a great pain being told something, being patient and then having it delayed. However, if you are going to consider the other 2 then why not a Hemi. I'm not brand loyal, I just went with what I thought was the best truck and deal at the time. Use the other 2 brands as a reason to...

    painted air dam?

The air dam is 4.25" tall. I removed mine entirely, no effect of mileage that I have noticed.

    Fiat Takes Full ownership

Nothing wrong with European engineering. Whose fault is it that any given company gets bought out? Poor management/marketing? Whatever the case, just be lucky someone bought it out instead of it suffering or going under completely. Maybe the trannies (Dodge's main complaint) might get some...

    EcoDiesel Order Release Date

My math was ok earlier however, I mistakenly said months instead of weeks. This is what happens at the end of a 4x 10hr work week ;-) With my type of driving I get about 550KM during a typical week on 75L of 89 octane. That is 60% Hwy, the rest city. According to my trip meter and the litres...

    EcoDiesel Order Release Date

Mid-20's is really good for the engine type and weight of the RAM. I'd love to have a diesel. I got about 28MPG with my Mazda 5 and that had a 2.5L 4cyl gas engine so it's not that much different. I'd have to do the math (not right now!) to see how many years it would take to get a 'break-even'...

    EcoDiesel Order Release Date

On the US RAM site the SLT model shows the V6 gas as standard, the 5.7 is $1150 more and the ECO diesel $4000 more. $2850 in gas is almost 3 years of my type of driving with the 5.7. Plus you have to factor in the cost of diesel, which is getting a little pricier than gas, at least here. Not...

    RAM, Snow and some LSD

I'd blame the tires, the SR-A are really plain in their trend pattern. I'll be swapping mine out within a year. The rubber is what keeps you safe, never go cheap on it.

    The best thing

Nothing wrong with a Transformer logo. My son looks at the side of the truck every time he sees it. I Love the expression he gets from it as well.

    MDS Wear & Tear?

After 2 full tanks of gas and running in manual mode I see next to zero difference in mileage as compared with MDS on. I'm doing close to the same drive routine weekly which is approx 60/40 (city/hwy) with 89 octane. That's not why I shut off MDS for though, the drone is why I'd rather be in...

    Blue Bed-lined Rockers

Blue on white makes it look kinda cheap. If colour is a must how about HEMI orange with bold HEMI in black. Maybe a dark grey strip?

    Not a tuner but...

One of the many reasons I'm an Android guy, specifically Nexus devices. Apps are mostly try before buy, they are cheaper and I can customize with a unrooted Android more than jail-broken iPhone. Rooted Android and the universe gets even bigger :)

    Mds disable how to?

Me too, I like the truck other than the MDS. Drone at 1500-1700RPM at about 50-55KMPH is very annoying. So annoying in fact the truck has taught me to immediately put it in "manual mode 6".

    Not a tuner but...

From the link on the apps info page it states to make sure you don't get a cheap OBD2 unit as pairing may not work as well, or not at all.

    Not a tuner but...

The phone pairs with the OBD2 unit as the BT is built into it. Nice amount of info for the price, I'm going to get one soon, maybe my BDay in Jan. (hope the better half sees this post ;-) )

Thanks for the info everyone, very helpful as usual! Torn between the SS Dynomax and Magnaflow ...OT in the New Year will pay for the goodies I want. :-)

    Not a tuner but...

I found this on the Play Store, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en It's a monitor of sorts; get OBD fault codes, car performance, sensor data, etc. $5.00 for the app plus about $30-40ish for the OBD II Bluetooth adapter. Has anyone got this or used it before?

Glad mine didn't have it, maybe it was because it is a 2012 and had been on the lot for a while. Paint looks better than vinyl strips. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

    2013 mpg

My 12 gets about 18mpg consistently. I use 89 octane and change into "manual mode" after I get in. Gained 1 to 2mpg when in manual BTW. The other plus is the drone is gone completely when in manual. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

CAI Talk (kinda a rant on life to sorry)

Welding / fabrication in Canada is huge. The gap between people who have 2-3 years plus a ticket and people who are retiring is growing. Easy to find work here, if you can't then you are either lazy or expect top dollar without true experience. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
