My 14 needs these.... I swapped to LEDs in my 08' Jeep and had to use resistors - the resistors get F'n hot so don't put them where they can damage something. Hopefully a direct replacement will be available soon. Hard to beat LEDs these days.
Now you have me interested in more sound... thanks for that.
A custom molded box will give you so much more useable airspace.
This guy makes them to drop right in... you will pay for it but it's ready to go. He has a couple of youtube vids showing how he makes them

Find a reputable stereo shop in your area and stop in for a chat, tell them what you are looking for and see what they say.
I plan on glassing in a set of sealed 10s, power them right and they will sound perfect. My days of rattling the wipers loose are over lol..
I have a custom set of boxes...
X2 on the quiet(er) ride. For a tire with that aggressive of a tread they are not bad at all. I couldn't hear myself think running Mud Grapplers and now have a set of 37" Goodyear MTRs on the Jeep - while not crazy loud they are louder than the Coopers.
35" Coopers.... working the rocks
I spelled it wrong in my first post.

I have the "S Leather" version. Fake leather that looks perfect and I don't care if my kids and dog destroy'em
Cowboy.... If you do it with clamps be sure to use some high heat RTV to make sure it seals up. Otherwise up it may throw a code.
Find a buddy with a welding machine and buy him a case of beer.
^^ yep I had removed mine so I could spray the rear bumper (plastidip) but didn't need to in order to swap out the muffler.
Just spray the rubber hangers with some WD40, or similar, and you will be able to move things around pretty easily.
Lots of good ones out there and I am in the market for a set as well. I have the Iggies in my Jeep and love'em. I went with a cheaper set in the Jeep because it gets rained on and beat up pretty regularly.
The little wrinkles disappeared in about a month. Looks and feels like leather. Have not...
She looks great!
I found some stuff made by "TexBrite" called "Showroom Shine" and am very impressed. I have always been a Mother's guy but this stuff might change that.
Love the gray!
Thanks guys, lovin' it. Hoping for some sun so the damn thing will stay clean for longer than a day.
Blacked out the 3rd brake light today..... Just didn't look right all red up there. Two coats of rustoleum tint spray and it looks great. Still plenty of light to the rear. I need to check it...
Another happy Mufflex guy. It arrived on Thursday evening and I installed it the next morning. Very straightforward and simple. Some WD40, a 15mm wrench and a little muscle and it's done. I am glad I didn't pay someone to do it.
I just "down graded" from an 2011 F350 to the 1500 and am very happy so far. I have had diesels for almost 20 years and just don't tow enough any more to justify it. I remember the days that we laughed at the gassers because diesel fuel was cheaper.... Then the price went up... 15 gallons of...
Sounds high for those....
I ran'em on my Jeep for a while and did a lot of rock crawling. Good overall performance and a little chunking that was due to spinning the tires on the rocks. They wore pretty good but that was on a jeep.... No experience on a truck although the weight of the jeep...
Just getting started but made some progress today.
2014 1500... brought it home last Friday and went to work today. Windows tinted, dropped in a Magnaflow and went on an anti-chrome mission. Thanks for the posts about the plasti-dip. I was worried going in but followed the directions and got...
A tuner is on my short list.... CAI first, then the muffler... then the tune once I recover from Christmas lol..
This thread just narrowed my list a bit
Yep, find one that was crashed in the front - don't get hung up on what color it is and have it painted to match.
If you jacked up your bed enough to have to replace it be sure and check the frame....
Sorry to hear you crashed your rig.
The terrain will not be flat, it will be 3 dimensional... as in the buildings, hills and such will look more like they should.
I have not used it so I guess I don't know what I am missing.... I am fine with regular ol'directions as long as they get me to where i need to be.
It's a shame that it is that much. I just bought mine and had the same (basically) deal as you... They gave me $500 for being a vet that I didn't expect so I considered it a wash..
It was a simple reflash... and I would think that anyone would think that it is excessive. It's nice... but priced...
