    2012 slt bumpers?

    Looking at a 2012 3500 cummins cc 4x4. According to the badges on the truck, it's an SLT trim. I was always under the impression that SLT came with chrome bumpers. This one has the black plastic. Am I wrong on this assumption? Did the "base" SLT trim come with plastic bumpers?

    Traction bars

    My truck: 07 qc hemi 2wd, 4 inch cst spindle lift in front 1 inch blocks in the rear. Looking at pro comp traction bars 72500B. Description says they are for 4x4. Is there any real difference in the 4x4 trucks and 4x2 rear suspension? Anyone know if they will work on 2wd?

    So basicly a tuned 2012 has the capacity to do the 17000 lbs...? Not that I need the 17xxx. But if I get a 2012 Cummins I want it to be more then just 1500 lbs more capable the my current ram hemi.

    Looking towing charts and noticed a significant difference in towing capacity between 2012 and 2013. Specifically looking at crew cab long bed 4x2 with 3.42 gears. Anyone know what changes were made to justify such a difference? 2012: 9,950 2013: 17,750

    Transfer case?

    Looking at 2012 and up 2500 Cummins 4x4. Some have a dial to turn to switch from 2x4- 4x4. Others have a shifter on the the floor. Any pros or cons between them? Is there a difference?
