I leveled the truck out with the rancho quick lifts about 4 months ago and Im starting to feel like I got a bad ball joint again. Kinda feel and hear the noise of either the ball joint, sway bar link, or tie rod end. Ill check it out more specifically when I get some time.
I'm wondering...
I've tried cables and headphones work fine. I just didn't know if the aux jack is repairable.
This is my second oem head unit (first one had a broken cd stuck inside) so I think I'll just look into a aftermarket one that can do more.
My oem radio works fine except the AUX jack port does not work. When I plug my iPod into it sound only plays on the right side of the truck. CD's and the Radio play perfect so I know its not anything else. Also I turned the dial to make the sound only play on the left side and it plays very very...
Put in on this morning and then took it to a shop to have them weld it on and create a extension pipe for the outlet to the tailpipe since the new muffler was shorter then the OEM.
It sounds good and has a nice rumble to it, I am happy with it. One thing wrong is now I have some good drone...
So I'm trying to buy a magnaflow muffler but I can't seem to find any inlet/outlet offset 3" mufflers. Does anyone have a part number or the right direction to point me in.
It's time to upgrade my exhaust to the new muffler and also gonna buy a Y pipe, which I've been told is also 3" in/out...
I just kept using my 1/2 ratchet and twisting it around and soaking it with PB and the exposed parts that tapped it back in with the hammer and turned the bolt around to let the PB work inside the sleeve and bushing. It took time and then I just cleaned the bolts up good with my bench grinders...
My impact only did so much so I just used my 1/2 ratchet and a 4lb hammer to get it out, and 1 1/2 cans of PB blaster. I soaked the bolt ends that were sticking out and worked it back into the sleeve then twisted it around and let the blaster work inside. I did that for awhile and hitting the...
Thanks I like them and can't wait to see how they handle on some real bumpy roads. I think I will look into the 9000s for the rear. Well see

I wanted to give it a try since I needed new shocks and wanted a level and to replace my coil springs. So far so good and the shocks are also adjustable for different ride qualities.

So yesterday I installed the rancho quiklifts, they are a complete coil over. The truck was making a popping like sound and it was from the worn front shocks.
The driver side went pretty easy, just removed the upper and lower ball joint studs from the knuckle, tie rod end, sway bar link, and...
I just ordered the Rancho quicklifts from summit and now I will have to wait until they arrive. I need new shocks since I'm at 89k and one of my coil springs is sagging so thats why I went with the loaded quick lifts. This way I will get my truck leveled a little bit. Hope they work out great...
I have not driven enough to tell that one yet. I only took it for a test drive and just noticed that it seems to have the better response. Ill post back when and if I notice any mpg difference.
Went to radio shack and bought some 4.7kohms resistors 1/2w and made a PW today.Only took about 10 minutes with everything and before my scan gauge was reading about 108 just at idle and when I plugged in the PW it read 80 degrees.
Took it for a test drive and the truck seems to have a little...
