Can anybody tell me what I need to be looking at on the front end of these? Truck is an 07 mega cab. Supposedly has a Rancho Lift. No idea on size of lift. Truck is running 37s. I've attached some photos the owner sent me. Looks pretty rusty. I've never owned a 3rd gen 2500 diesel. Only...
I have a aftermarket off-road bumper with receiver brackets that bolt up the the horns and tow hook brackets. I'll just have the bumper receiver backets modified. Thats easy.
I've been debating on a 3" body lift. I had a zone on my 3rd gen. Any idea why Zone doesn't offer a 3" BL for the 2016 ram 1500? How are the PA kits? If I do it the brackets for my bumper with require some modifications so I can still utilize the shackles and winch.
I run back country roads where I might not see another vehicle for 15+ miles but the main reason I have the bar is hunting. I duck hunt a lot of farm pond so it's nice to pull up to the edge of the pond flip on the light bar and see everything while I'm setting my decoy spread.
I plan to do the same shortly. My plan is to mount it to a piece of MDF and secure that to the back wall of the tuck. Yes you will need to tap the left and right speakers.
Weight capacity is $300. No need for cutting. There is a bracket that gets removed and this mounts in its place. I'll run a shipping estimator and PM you.
Debating on what to do about flares. I have the stock OEM flares I can put back on. Was looking into the rivet pocket styles but trying to make them work with the bumper is going to be tough since the corners of the bumper don't sit flush. Whatever direction I go will require some type of...
Washers. Now that I know I have the space to do a powered sub, I'll pull the seats, template the baseplates and cut 3/4" shims and get longer grade 8 bolts. Have kids riding back there so never can be too safe.
Yea. I guess at the end of the day I need very crisp and clear speakers. I mostly listen to old country (Cash, Haggard, Willie etc.), folk rock (mumford & sons, Lumineers, etc) and a little bluegrass.
Clear version here. Shocked at how bright they are without chromed reflectors.Clear version here. Shocked at how bright they are without chromed reflectors. Comes with twice as many LED as the recon at 1/3 of the price. Plus I think they look better.
I'm gonna stick with the RF powered sub. I wish I could've figured out that kicker setup. I like the fact that they got back to passive radiators on that model.
