Interesting location. What turbo are you running? Any lag with it being so far back? And what do you have for tuning?

Well the wheel trade I had going seems to have fallen through, and I've found that it seems my torque converter seal is leaking

Driving a lot. Ended up needing a new steering box. Put a 1 ton box in, and converted to atf in the power steering. Night and day difference. Feels like I'm steering a stock truck

Looking back at the pictures, in the back back ground of one picture is the flange that is dirty if that's what you were seeing that looked like rust.
The pinion might look bad in the picture but that's just from the angle I suppose
After looking at it in better light, there are some slight...
Preload was set within spec. No way for there to have been water in it, fluid was changed weeks ago and the truck hasn't even been out in rain since. Let alone off road/submerged in water.
Possibly just the picture, but the pinion was not chewed up at all. No rust on it either. Possibly just...

I finally found a spot on the outer pinion...

I did the same thing trying to make my own tool. Went through all the seals in the local area before I bought a tool for $200 or so from that one online store that uses all their own part numbers. Lol I don't remember the name so that's the best way to describe them

Inner axle seal ? Have fun! Lmao
Driving it around a lot. Putting close to 200 miles on it every week now. Which is a ***** on my wallet. Spintech pro street 9000 coming soon. Oh and some total bro dozed 20x14 wheels to fit the 38s in my basement. Then subsequently, more fender/bumper cutting...
Finally got around to getting my X case fill plug out. Been stripped since I got the truck. Turns out.. my trans case was completely empty! Bone dry. Oh well it's lasted me this long.. filled it up and put new plugs in it.
I've been steadily working on it for a while ever since I finished with...
